Most food is expired. Terrible service and horrible attitudes will not be returning. 10 out of 10 worst behavior.

That was issue 1. Issue 2. Went to use the ironing board, (within 3 min of getting into the room) which was hanging on the ironing board rest, and it was broken. We use the ironing board to add more counter top area for a small carry on. Called down to let her know the board was broken so they wouldn't charge us for breaking us. She offered to bring up a different one and we declined since we were going to make do. Issue 3. Went to take a shower, and found a very dried out, hairy washcloth hanging on the inside door rack of the shower. Hairs inside the shower and on the bar soap rest. Husband went to talk to the front desk gal, and dropped it onto the ledge at the check-in, and told her this was in the shower. She said he threw it at her, and went off on him. She would not have a conversation about the issue. She offered a different room, which he declined. He also apologized, which I don't think he should have done. I went down after he came back up to the room and had the same experience with her. She went on and on about how he threw the washcloth at her, so, I asked if we couldn't just talk about the issue and was interrupted. I asked if I could finish what I was trying to say. I just wanted to talk about the issue and what Holiday Inn Express could do for me, since there was clearly several issues. She agreed and went right back to how rude she thought my husband was and that she's a person, not a robot, etc. I had to bring her back around to the Issue and said I would change the room. Which we did. Issue 4. She sitting down was doing flower crafts at the front desk, and sat the whole time we had the "discussion" Issue 5. When asked for her name, she said, ask the manager in the morning. Issue 6. Quite alot of water on the floor in the lobby area in several places. UPDATE!! .. Husband talked to the front desk manager, Phillip this morning and told him of his experience with the clerk the previous night and showed him this review. He said her behavior was not acceptable and ended up compensating us. Apparently, the gal who"helped" us, Rachel was her name, had given 2 weeks notice and that was her last night. Phillip was extremely kind and generous, and went above and beyond our expectations. Thank you Phillip!!

Yet, it's really nice in its own ways. Cabins with bathrooms, kitchen space and more are available, options to fit 2 or more people. There are plenty of RV and camping vehicle life spaces with hook ups or not. One can choose any of the several tent sites too. And finally, the option for day soak is available if space is. I've done all three staying options and loved each one. Just prepare well bringing food, drinks and toiletries and you'll be set. There is a community kitchen with limited kitchen supplies for cooking like utensils, cups, plates and some cookware... but limited and also ever changing as its most donated / left. The clubhouse is spacious, lots of seating and space to be. A large fireplace is available. (Bring own fire wood for this or camping OR get some from them if available). There are community showers, bathrooms and laundry. The hot springs spaces have a clothing required, and separately, a clothing optional space. Plenty of tubs in each with a very hot, hot and mild option. There's lots of property to walk around, a little hill with a star gazing chair, labyrinth and decorated space. Peacocks roam around amongst other possible wild life. Everything feels well maintained and the staff is always kind. This time we stayed in campsite 46 which if your camping, is the best IMO

You can go for the day, or if you wish to spend the night, rent a cabin or reserve a RV or camping site. They've got both clothing-optional and clothing-required areas, with pools ranging from a cozy 95°F to a toasty 110°F. Not crowded on a holiday weekend in July, we were able to secure a campsite the day of. The lady at the front desk was very friendly. You do have to arrive and check in before the visitor center closes, and there is no one there at night if you have questions or need anything. We were told we'd have access to the courtyard by the visitor's center after hours, but the doors were locked. Not a huge deal. Didn't see any snakes, though I know they're around, but I did meet a few tarantulas and some whip scorpions (they won't bug you, just watch where you step). Cute and quirky little place to spend the night, and soaking in therapeutic water under the stars is

The dining area was really neat and clean and it gave me a luxurious feel and I can appreciate it very much because to me it shows that they are put a lot of care into making sure their guests are taken care of. I called ahead to see if there was availability first, what rooms were available and what time check out was. The photos of the hotel were very lovely and I loved that the pool was so big and nice so I was excited about being able to swim in it too. Unfortunately, their pool was closed (chained up), and I wish there was a warning sign about that because I really wanted to swum and it looked really nice. Again, their dining hall for the free breakfast was so nice. I thoroughly enjoyed breakfast and only wished my family had joined me because they had hot and fresh eggs, grits, sausages, oatmeal, biscuits and fruits, oranges. The spread was definitely amazing and the one to beat. You could make your own waffles, they had cereal (Kix and Fruit Loops), yogurt and toast and just so much! I'll share a video of what I saw. Check out was at 11am. It was roughly $107 in total for a one night stay and that was a very reasonable price in compared to our previous stay at another hotel/motel in Arizona (please refer to that review). Checking in was really quick and the woman at the desk when I checked in was very accommodating. We checked out right before 11am and had to drive roughly 8 hours home when I realized I left some headphones in our suite. Called to ask them about it the next day and was told by the woman on the phone (that I will assume is the Manager), Heather, to call back the next day (she's working) and she'll get something squared away so that I can have my headphones back. I truly appreciate that so much and it's one of the reasons why I gave this place 5 stars.

Upon returning home, we discovered what appeared to be bed bug bites, raising serious concerns about the condition of our room. I sent three emails to the property, called the front desk, and even contacted Choice Hotels corporate customer service. Corporate informed me that this was a property-level issue that local management needed to address. Despite all of my efforts, no one from the hotel has contacted me to acknowledge my concerns, explain whether the room was inspected, or tell me what, if anything, was done. What is most frustrating is not only the potential bed bug concern, but the complete lack of accountability. A simple phone call or email explaining the findings or the steps taken would have shown that management cares about its guests. Instead, I have been ignored. Bed bug concerns should always be taken seriously, and guests deserve timely communication and transparency. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend staying here. The property was relatively quiet and had a good breakfast. The breakfast attendant was amazing and helped make the trip enjoyable.
