Grabbed a Kleenex tried rubbing it off but it was dried hard. Also upon checking in, Found part of a tortilla chip by the bathroom tub and Cotton swab under the sink on the floor with something on it. Please take note of the price increase of over $150 (You are paying for a swimming pool that is no longer there, and no more gym either, which is completely unfair) I strongly suggest considering other options before Staying here. All went well. I like the price and it was nice and clean. I would recommend this place.

Price was the highest of any place we stayed for 7 nights of traveling cross country. Major issue: the elevator was not working and they had no rooms left on the bottom floor though the place didn't seem that full. So we were on the second floor with a flight of stairs that was far from the parking lot. Before arriving they texted and offered us a refund for the elevator but there weren't other good options nearby so we decided to stay there anyway. It was a newly built hotel so everything was clean. But the receptionist was often away from the desk and kind of aloof when she was there. There were zero restaurants open to have dinner when we checked in around 5:00 pm. We had to rush to a nearby grocery store to get food before they closed at 6 pm. Not sure I would recommend this place. There was a group of workers staying there that seemed to be regulars and it felt like the focus was on keeping them happy. With the price, staff and lack of restaurants nearby, I would not recommend tbis place for a traveler's overnight stay. read more

Don't stay here we were very disappointed with the Hampton inn in lordsburg. To begin with we were called and notified that the elevator was out of service. Had the call been earlier we probably would have changed hotels but it was a little late to find a place at that point. I was assuted someone would help with luggage. So we agreed to climb to the third floor. There was no one to assist with luggage When I entered the room I went to adjust the thermostat on the air conditioning system and the cover for the controls fell off in my hand. It was broken. Then I went into the bathroom and found there was no toilet paper holder. It had been pulled from the wall and removed from the room. When I advised the desk clerk that the holder was missing she said she would note it for maintenance. I think maintenance already knew or would have still been in the room. The bed must have been in that room for 15 years to have depressions as deep as it does. Likewise the pillows are little balls of something that are not very comfortable. There are no longer any amenities in the room such as makeup mirrors. We ask for at the front desk for a mirror but there were not available. It's as if the rooms have been stripped of all the things that used to be there for the convenience of the traveler. Primarily because of the elevator when we checked in we asked it was possible to get a discount on the room. We were advised that it would be difficult since we had paid in advance but that she would check with the manager. When I called about the toilet paper holder being missing again requested a discount because of the condition of the room and the elevator I got the same sndwer. At this point I've heard from no one about anything. None of these things would have been true in any of the Hampton inns I've stayed in before. It was very disappointing and my last day in a Hampton Inn. read more

This tends to be a place you stop when passing through and not necessarily a destination but if you need a place to stop in the area you can't go wrong with this Hampton Inn. It's clean (it even smells clean when you walk in) and well maintained. The staff at the front desk is unbelievably friendly and helpful. Tommie is a great ambassador of the brand. The room is spacious and clean. They unfortunately no longer have a pool. They are in the process of getting rid of it to make way for more accessible rooms being that there is more of a need for them and the pool was hardly used. The hotel is right off the 10 and easy to find. There is gas nearby and a McDonalds very close if you need a quick bite to eat. read more

From the check in process with Jalen who was so incredibly professional, kind and welcoming, to the very nice clean comfortable beds and rooms and a nice quiet sleep led to the absolute most wonderful breakfast. Yes it's the usuals you see, hard boiled eggs, waffle makers, juice etc. but they also had little cheese omelets, sausage and potatoes. We are fortunate to get to travel in our home state a lot and this preparation of food combined with the AMAZING woman who was going around asking if ppl need anything and assisting in any way possible. We were told at booking there was no elevator (ok) but our room was next to the very busy, loud stairwell (not ok). Dirty room, fridge not working, trash under the vanity. I am forever grateful for Ms. Katrina at Hampton Inn Lordsburg, NM. I am passing through on my way to Phoenix, AZ and my laptop battery died. I don't have a charger in my car so I stopped here and asked if I could sit in the lobby to charge it. Katrina was so hospitable and welcoming. I told her that I didn't have a reservation and she said it was okay anyway. Not only did she let me charge it, she offered to plug it in behind the front desk and watch it for me if I had other errands to run. I am a Hilton Honors member and I travel often and this is an example of stellar hospitality you can expect from Hilton. On my way back home. I'm 100% making a reservation here. Also, this Hampton Inn is immaculately clean, the staff is nice and welcoming. I feel safe here. FYI IF YOU HAVE CATS THAT HIDE PLUG THE HOLES ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BACK OF THE BED (it'll be behind the bedside tables so slide those out)! Our cat went back there and I was worried he'd get stuck so I plugged those holes with towels. Spacious, breakfast (albeit all of its poison non organic food anyway but oh well), allows PETS!, comfy clean beds... and not a single pube in sight!! They need to let everyone who books their rooms know the pool is not open , elevator is in need of repair.

Room was large, TV and HVAC worked fine. But I was uncomfortable staying here as the room was obviously not cleaned well. There were a few hairs in the tub, two pieces of small trash on the night stand, and some white clumps of something on the baseboard (not caulk). Things can get missed, but if trash is left it does tell you that that surface was not wiped down. Mold spots around the tub caulking. The tub makes loud creaking sounds while stepping around in the shower. I can hear it now from the bedroom. It's loud. The patches on the ceiling were horrendous - not done by anyone who had ever done it before. Elevator missing baseboards so just dried glue all along the bottom. Kept hearing noise of a phone that was off the hook that sounded like it was in another room. Checked that ours was hung up and they were. Finally figured out it was in our room. Couldn't shut off the noise so disconnected the phone. Breakfast - a nice spread of choices. The forks, fruit and muffins were about gone when we got there. Nothing was refilled by the time we finished eating. Paid $113 - not happy read more

I feel confident that I picked the best possible hotel accommodation in Lordsburg. Sure, the furniture and decor wasn't the most modern but everything was very clean and comfortable. Although it was an older style, nothing seemed old as it was all very clean. The staff was all very kind. I loved that they had special parking up front for Diamond members as my car was loaded down and didn't want to have to bring all of my stuff inside. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The mattress was perfect and I loved that the linens were nice and fluffy without being too hot. I also loved that they were pet friendly and didn't charge a fee for my pup to stay there. That was the biggest selling point. I was going to drive a bit further and stay at a different hotel but they all wanted $50-$75 for my dog to stay with me there for just 8 hours overnight which seems outrageous. So not having a pet fee was greatly appreciated. They even had goody bags for the dogs! As a female solo traveler I felt safe staying here by myself and will be back at the Hampton Inn should I find myself in Lordsburg again in the future. read more

Spent two separate nights here coming & going from Texas vacation. Rooms were very clean. Beds are comfortable. Enough pillows ... yeah I'm a pillow lover. Desk clerks were courteous and efficient. A shout-out to Manager Patricia for making my short stay memorable! This Hampton is run by a woman who worked every job at this Hampton before moving into her managerial position. It shows. I was exhausted when I arrived with two pets in tow. I had no reservation. She had one room left. The rate was high because of a fundraising convention saying there. I didn't mind. The room was very comfortable. The hotel accommodates dogs in a specified area around the corner from the front door. It's cleaned regularly. Parking is a snap. I enjoyed a breakfast of really good scrambled eggs and hash browns. But it is Patricia that is the real star here. She was so, so welcoming. She helped unload my car and then helped load me up. She said, "I'm strong than I look." I said to myself, "You are one amazingly kind person, too." read more

Could have been better. We stayed at this place on the way to Texas. The people were nice, and the room was clean. We even enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. What would have made this better would be to not smell the messes from the pets on what must have been some very unsanitary carpet. I've never stayed at a Hampton inn before but this was okay. After a long day of driving from Austin to northern Arizona, we decided to stop here. The checkin was nice and the front desk person was very hospitable. Even though COVID is still a thing, they still had breakfast in the morning. We stayed in 4 hotels after this one during our ravels and NONE of them were as accommodating as this one. The room was okay but not great. Bed was hard, which is typical but not to my liking. The bathroom was clean, shower hot, tun was creaky and a little too narrow for my liking as well. I kept getting dizzy from it. All in all, a 3 star. Noah (the Front Desk Agent at check-out) was also friendly and understanding of my concerns. The room air conditioning worked great, there were plenty of television channels and the bed was comfortable. NEGATIVES: The initial impression upon driving up to the hotel is that this is a new property which leads to an expectation of clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, this property fell way short of expectations - based on my observations, maintenance and cleaning programs are not in place. In my experience, the condition of the property is a direct result of the lack of commitment/involvement by ownership to creating a positive guest experience. It is also a reflection on the lack of enforcing standards by the hotel brand (Hilton). Common Areas - luggage cart carpet stained, elevator tracks dirty, elevator wall damaged at base, elevator decal damaged, 3rd floor elevator landing carpet dirty, 3rd floor ice machine damaged/dirty, 3rd floor guest room door frames/doors heavily scratched, 3rd floor corridor carpet dirty/stained, window dirty. Room 303 - door frame/door damaged, all room walls had black marks, bed phone faceplate damaged, desk phone cradle dirty, all lampshades damaged, chair arms dirty, ironing board cover stained, Room 303 Bathroom - mold at top of shower pan in several areas, shower head dirty, caulk around toilet damaged, ceiling light not working, towel shelf finish worn, vent dirty. NOTES: 1. I did not eat breakfast as I checked out before the starting hours; however, based on my observations I would not have eaten breakfast as I would question the sanitary preparation of food items and cleanliness of breakfast equipment. 2. I did not report the items noted until check-out as my gut told me - again based on my observations - I would be playing 'room roulette' in trying to find an acceptable room. The common areas were obviously neglected as was Room 303 which indicated that other rooms would be in the same condition. 3. For the first time, I invoked the 100% Hampton guarantee as I was not satisfied. Noah was very pleasant handling the refund and apologizing for my negative experience. 4. I would NOT recommend this hotel! Quite frankly, I am very surprised that Hilton allows this hotel to remain as part of their brand as it is a detractor. To be clear, my room and the hotel were both 100% fine. I've been a business traveler for over 30 years. I used to work at a Hilton resort as a maintenance person. I've been a Hilton Honors member since 1998. In all the hotels I've checked into I have never, ever had just a horrible experience as I did with the Front Desk person that was on duty on July 1st 2019. I did a virtual check in on June 30th and picked my room on the first floor. I arrived at the hotel on July 1st 2019 for my stay, went to the front desk for my key. She asked for my ID and CC and started to check me in. I let her know that I had already checked in and chose a room. Her response should have been, "Sir, I apologize but our elevator is out and our first floor rooms could not be cleaned." My response would have been, "Oh that sucks for House Cleaning. I'll take whatever room is available." That's not how it went. The Front Desk person snapped, at me "They didn't get to it." Which irked me, and I said, "It's 5:30pm, checkouts at 10:30, that seems like plenty of time to get the rooms cleaned." She instantly got an attitude with me and we had a heated exchange. She gave me my room key and off I went. And you know what, that should've been the end of it. And I would've chalked it up to her having a bad day, especially after finding out the elevator was not working. BUT!! There was a 5am wake up call to my room that I did not schedule!! There's no way this was a "mistake"! This was retribution for the heated exchange I had with the front desk person!! That is as the most vindictive, unprofessional and immature thing I've ever experienced!! She needs to be fired and never work in the hospitality industry again. read more

Horrible horrible horrible. Don't ever leave your personal items in the room because you'll never get them back. They have a policy that's literally on a sign in every room stating that if you leave items behind, they will mail them to you free of charge. We accidentally left some clothing in the closet and a water bottle behind the tv and they said that they'd mail them. It's been over a month, and four phone calls later, still nothing AND no communication with the staff or management. They keep saying that someone will call us back but we haven't received a single call or email. Don't stay here. Period. Radio that has nature sounds, white noise, or mp3 hookup, towel hooks right by shower (so many places forget this), extra blankets, textured tub w/ no-slip floor, wall hair dryer, great Neutrogena soap & lotions & hair products that have no perfume, fluffy pillow, headboard attached to wall so no worries about noise(winkwink.) It has a pool/hot tub but we got here too late to check it out. Breakfast: bagel thins broiled with cheese and bacon; potatoes; oatmeal; cereal; pastries; toast; waffles; fruit. 3 kinds of coffee (regular or dark roast or decaf). No non dairy milk options for your coffee/cereal so bring your own if you need it. Staff very friendly. Everyone greeted us. The lady at the breakfast place is ON IT like you're her personal guest. Very nice! Much better than other places I've stayed in this range and better than some places that are pricier. read more

We drove 8 hours to lordsburg for a family event, we arrived around 9 PM. We reserve 2 adjoining rooms. We check in go to are rooms this is Memorial weekend 2023. Room 318 320 we enter 320 the room was filthy not even cleaned sheets on the fckn ground just a mess 318 was clean but not TV. Went down stairs the manager was like she knew and was trying to make it up to us I don't know very frustrated went down stairs to get a number to call front desk lady I don't have a number for you. We stayed here last night. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Hampton needs to figure out a parking policy. There was a large dually pickup pulling a trailer that parked at an angle in front of hotel. He took up 7 parking spaces. What kind of an idiot would do that. They need to be fined! Never stay there again. read more
