I then called the 3rd in front of him,which said it was the facility who over charged me. He then told me it was nothing he could do,as he then slammed down the paper on the desk and slid it to me. If I could rate it any lower I would.I'm also going to report them to the BBB.

When I arrived to Wheeler Road Self Storage after a long day of moving and a very long drive, the site manager graciously took care of me and squared me away with a unit that was exactly appropriate for what we had to store. The process was very quick and pleasant and the terms were clearly explained such as rental insurance, fees, etc. There are great features at this facility but the one that I appreciate the most is the on-site security. There are cameras throughout as well as the gated access requiring your passcode to gain access to the part where the storage units are located. Another feature if you need it is the air conditioned unit option. If you want a storage unit where you can feel safe and have your belongings there without much worry, then you should strongly consider these folks here! There are several locations throughout Augusta, just search and see what is more convenient for you!

Left a whole trip behind and "go down on the price" but turn around and go right back up on the price again while headed to the drop off location (SO UNPROFESSIONAL). Then try to go up on the price AGAIN and refuse to unload my items and tried to say that's the price that's owed is without the deposit ,but the whole time telling me that was the full pricing of the move "which should include the deposit" Long story short I was FORCE to OVER PAY than what was agreed THEN still have to MAKE 1 move TRIP with a truck ($200) AND the MESS up my NEW CONSTRUCTION WALLS and LEFT EVERYTHING ON THE 1ST LEVEL and in the Garage... I received a call back right away from Tom who manages the CubeSmart location near me. He was so wonderful and understanding of my situation and worked with me. The new owner didn't think so, as she had her employee call me and threaten me up and down. I agreed to have my bank send a check for the missing five-spot, which I did, the moment the disturbing phone call was over. This wasn't enough however. I continued to get collection phone calls in the following four days. The gizt was: "we haven't received the check yet. You need to make the five dollar payment over the phone because we WILL charge you a late fee if you are a minute late! I reminded them I was a good customer and to just cancel the fee when the check gets there tomorrow. Then the chisler claims on behalf of the chisler owner that they can do no such thing because "corporate" will not allow the local owners to make those kinds of decisions! Bottom line is this: do not use Cubesmart storage at ANY location! Corporate Cubesmart has new totally anti-customer policies. This hatred of their customers and greed for a trivial five bucks on accounts that have netted tens of thousands is absurd! There are dozens of better competitors than these. ..I want to say "clowns", but that might violate review guidelines, so we'll leave it at business unsavy circus dwellers and their corporate ilk.

I didn't want to push him, so we hired someone else to do the heavy lifting. I spoke with Ginger on and off about the service, price and method of payment accepted. On our agreed upon date, two young men showed up at the agreed upon time. The minimum time allotment was 2 hours and that wasn't a problem. I quickly showed them around and put them to work. They were very respectful and careful with my items. We relocated a sectional, another large sofa, an entertainer from the garage, and lots of boxes. At the end of our time, Ginger was called and she sent an electronic invoice which I was allowed me to pay without providing my credit card info over the phone which is a pet peeve for me. All in all a great service. I wish I knew the fellas that help with my particular move as I'd request the same team. That would be nice.

That definitely wasn't the case. I moved from a two bedroom apartment and garage. Everything in the garage was packed as well. To start the third man comes in telling me he has a hangover from drinking last night, moving slow as molasses. I get my dolly and start moving stuff myself. They were taking one item at a time. I got the dolly and staked three items on it. The third person is hiding talking on the phone in the bedroom arguing with someone, while the other two were working. He was talking on the phone to his baby mother about seeing his kids, you are at work. Then he started crying because she said he wasn't going to see his kids. Then he stopped working completely and went back of the truck and sat down. Later he comes back in and asked to use the bathroom and stayed in there for 35 plus minutes, and because he was still hungover from the night before blowup my bathroom, it was horrible. The lady told me the third person would save me money, he cost me more with me helping. Everything was labeled where it should go. I had to move stuff because he was paying attention. I asked him not to stack stuff so high because I was not going to be able to get down. He told me you are tall. Yes I am, but it's heavy and I don't was to hurt myself getting it down. He was a total waste of money. Mike and his brother did a wonderful job but this was outrageously expensive $1820.00. It took 10.5 hours. If I wasn't paying by the hour it would have went much faster and cost far less. When I moved in to this apartment, my two friends and I unload the same 26 foot truck in 3 hours. I was prepared to pay for 6 to 7 hour.

I also priced full service moves by brokers and relocation companies but the cost was triple and the reviews of nearly all companies in the industry were sketchy. The cost was less than a DIY with a truck & towing my car. The UPACK team's customer service from pick-up (South east) to drop off (West Coast) finish was above & beyond my expectations. All promised timelines were met and my belongings were perfect (see better and after photo). The consistency was such a pleasant surprise because the carriers were communicative and accommodating all the way through the process. ABF even delayed the drop off for me so I could celebrate the holidays with family. In closing, if all of UPACK's are this awesome, I highly recommend!

Became a customer about 6 months ago. After a couple months, my rental unit price was increased by…read moreabout 18%!! The excuse is that "everybody does it". Then, the roof starts leaking in one of my units ( I rented a 10x20, but they gave me two 10x10's without so much as an email). Some of my items were damaged from the roof leak, but it was minimal. I immediately reported the leak to Corporate through local staff. No one has contacted me from corporate to discuss compensation, moving my things to a unit that doesn't leak when it rains, or even an apology for damages and inconvenience. Local staff has been great, but they have no control over anything. The location of the leak puts both my units at risk, and I had to move all my stuff to the sides and tarp it all and provide a key to staff to come and go in my units as they please to make repairs. And I'm still paying the extra 18%. Find another place if you want your things to be protected from weather and corporate self-interest.

Storage Sense Storage Units review I have had a temperature…read morecontrolled unit for the last 5 or 6 years on Dyess Parkway, Grovetown, Ga. I paid my rent before the due date without fail. A couple months ago Storage sense took over this business. I only go there once in a while, but when I went there last week, all the outside security doors have had their keyed entry guts removed, and the doors are just blowing in the wind. When I asked why, I was told there was nothing in the contract that says they are required to have keyed security doors. I have valuable paintings in there and the only thing now between them and thieves are my padlock on your flimsy garage door. Since your doors don't latch, you cannot have a temperature controlled storage. So therefore it is a scam, and false advertisement. And then you have the nerve to raise the rent for less security and no temperature control? I am moving to another storage business now, and you should be ashamed of yourselves for what you've done. UPDATE: the outside doors are closed now, but they have no locks, therefore no security. Temperature should be fine now, but the only security there is a locked flimsy garage door, which in this section of town is unacceptable.
