In the end, all of the painting was satisfactory on my unit. The problem was that notes were left on all the apt. doors stating that our balconies needed to be cleared for power washing. I cleared mine, but not power washing was ever done. Since I had plants that needed to be outdoors, I had to put them all back out. A note was also left on the door asking for a time when the weatherstripping could be removed and the inside of the door frame painted. I selected a time, but nobody came. My weatherstripping had already been taken off by one of the workers, but insects were getting in, and the a/c was going out, so I put it back on after they didn't show up. It was a couple of days before anyone came back to paint. Another thing that was frustrating was that you never knew when they would be there painting. It was not unusual to walk into the livingroom and see a painter on the balcony (unannounced.) They got onto the balcony with ladders. I think it would benefit the company, if they are going to take on large projects, to have a better system and be more organized - maybe finish one bldg. at a time, instead of jumping all around from thing to thing. If you leave notes asking what time is convenient for the tenant, then show up at that time, or contact the tenant and let them know you are unable, and reschedule. This project began in October and just now finished. During a time when it was pleasant outdoors, and I was not able to use my balcony because they were constantly painting. I do give credit to the workers. Painting and being on ladders is hard work, and I'm sure they were just following orders.

I had used CertaPro previously in 2010 and they gave me a perfect job, painting my entire exterior. But since then the local ownership changed to Charley and so did the professionalism. This last time in 2015 I paid top dollar for a lousy job. Never again.

Fresh Coat of Gainesville did an absolutely amazing job removing wallpaper from our four bathrooms…read more(with 10' ceilings), then did an equally great job painting them and also our great room. I had three other companies give me estimates before I hired Fresh Coat; the other companies were all intimidated by the amount of wallpaper and its strong adhesion to the walls and were describing pretty crazy ways they'd take it off, adding that they'd have to skim coat the walls because of the scrapes, gouges and leftover glue that would inevitably be left behind. Javier of Fresh Coat, however, looked at the wallpaper and said removing it would be no problem, that the key to taking off wallpaper is steam and patience, and that if you are patient, it will peel off no problem. His fees were also comparable to the others. His confidence in the wallpaper removal prompted me to hire his company, and I am very glad I did. Andy and Frank took the wallpaper off beautifully, with no scrapes or gouges, and they removed all traces of glue so that when they were done, the walls were smooth, dry, and not at all sticky or gooey. They also removed the wallpaper behind the mirrors and fixtures. I was totally impressed. Andy and Frank were also very professional and pleasant, and treated the house with respect; they covered everything and lined the walkways with dropcloths, and at the end of each work day, would leave the rooms clean and picked up. Andy, Frank, and Lazaro also did a wonderful job priming and painting the bathrooms and great room. Javier and project manager Tim were also both excellent to work with. Very responsible and responded to my calls and texts quickly. They resolved a couple of problems we ran into professionally, fairly, quickly, and graciously. I would hire this company again and recommend them without hesitation.

We never claimed to be professionals that's why we called for one. He quoted us for something completely opposite of what we asked for. I contacted him after the quote to ask for a quote reflecting the repairs we wanted and he begin to be rude and call me condescending for asking for what we wanted, I hung up and he proceeded to text me very rude things and I told him to not text me anymore. Today about 5 days later he texts me again because my husband left a review that was tactful and truthful. The picture is of the text from today, I deleted the others. In the text you'll notice he mentions my business and he knows this because he stalked my fb account!! Creepy This is NOT okay from a business owner, and extremely rude. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I found a drywall repair that didn't criticize us for not knowing how to replace drywall and gave me a quote based on the repair WE (the customer) wanted done.
