This was one of the best car rental experiences I've had, in the US or abroad. The people at Gatwick had a great price, and communicated well through the whole process, including some questions afterwards. Pickup from the airport and drop off was a great benefit, too. The Peugeot 3008 was a very comfortable car in like-new condition and we had no issues with it whatsoever. We will rent from them every time we come to England. Excellent service - far exceeded my expectations I hired a van from Gatwick Van Hire on 28.09.18, having picked them at random from an online search. My intial enquiry was dealt with very efficently, and I arrived early on the day of collection to find that the paperwork was ready, the van was ready and I was on the road within 10 minutes. Their Gatwick premises were immaculate, and the hire fleet were in a similar condition - I did not see a vehicle that was over a year old, or other than pristine. Upon return - which was out of hours - the facilities to leave the van and keys was effortless, and I received an email from them early the next day - Sunday - confirming that they were happy with the condition that the van was returned in. I did not have any preconceived ideas of what to expect when hiring a van, however Mercedes / Audi levels of efficency and customer service, and an immaculate hire fleet was far beyond my expectations - and they were the cheapest too. I highly recommend this place. My experience was terrific! Upon arrival in the UK, the car rental which we initially reserved, with a separate company, did not work out at all. In short, we were stranded at a Tesco desperately searching for a van rental at the last minute. Because we had no idea where we were, Gatwick picked us up at the store, transported free of charge to their location and we were able to rent a van. I recently found myself without a car which was going to cause a great deal of hassle. I expected car rental to expensive and difficult - but I was given the tip to avoid the airport and go for local businesses. These guys were great, near by, offered me a decent car, clean, reliable and at a good price. Best of all, it was far quicker to sort out than I expected.
