Four of us came in after visiting the church for a light lunch. We ordered the Caprese sandwich and Chicken sandwich along with nachos and a crepe. The bread was absolutely delicious! You can tell these guys know what they're doing with it comes to baking. The crepe was equally as delicious. The nachos were a bit of a joke. I wouldn't normally give a bad review but there were 4 slices of unmelted cheese on top of sub par nacho chips. Granted, we ordered the Nachos without guacamole, sour creme and jalapeño... However I don't think it would have changed the unmelted cheese situation. We asked to have them reheated and they came back only partially heated. There were also bits of cardboard in the nachos. The Caprese sandwich was unreal. It was super tasty. The chicken sandwiches were mostly cheese sandwiches (comprised of the same unmelted cheddar cheese from the nachos). There was hardly any chicken on them at all, maybe the size of a chicken wing. The orange juice was super good and really tangy. But mine had a bug in it. Which sealed the deal on the quality of the food here. Next time we'll stick to baked goods! I feel the cafe does this bit right :)

This little bakery is right next to Sagrada Familía so my family and I stopped beforehand to get some breakfast. There was only one girl and her one guy who were taking care of all patrons. I think they were a father/daughter duo and lived upstairs. Anyway, we weren't helped the first 10 or so minutes we were there so I asked the girl if she could take our order since we had to be at the Sagrada at a certain time. She took our order and her dad quickly made it all in about 7-10 minutes. We were so happy with the quick service and the food was also awesome! We got the pancakes, coffee, and toast with cheese, eggplant, and red bell peppers. So yum!! When we left, I said thank you very much and she smiled and winked like " I got you girl!" Really appreciated her and hopefully they hired someone else to help her because that's too much for only two people to do! Enjoy! :)

They're light, buttery, and filled with just the right amount of cream, truly irresistible. And if you're a chocolate lover, their chocolate version is equally divine (you might just need to get both, trust me). But my absolute favorite treat here is the pan dulce con manzana. The buttery layers, the delicate apple slices caramelized just right, and the subtle sweetness make it the perfect pastry. Pair it with a strong espresso and you've got the ideal way to start your morning in Barcelona. The best part? You don't have to stop at breakfast. I always recommend grabbing one of their fresh bocadillos en pan casero to enjoy later in the day, or picking up one of their panes artesanos to savor at home, simple, rustic, and delicious even on their own. Forn Puiggròs isn't just a bakery, it's a ritual. Go in the morning, enjoy something sweet with your coffee, and leave with bread that will make the rest of your day even better.

There were six of us, so we kind of caught them by surprise, but the staff didn't miss a beat. They took good care of us with friendly and efficient service. The pastries were absolutely delicious, and the cappuccinos were spot on--just the perfect start to the day. Overall, Forn is a great little spot near Sagrada Familia for breakfast, and I recommend it if you're in the area.
