I mean I get it, it's Stockton and people just walk out with stuff but it's like the treat you like you are a potential criminal already...and that's after about 20 minutes of waiting for some poor schmuck that got the holiday weekend and 5 people already called in "sick". In short this place has nearly everything for common jobs and the customer service is top notch. They are local, born and raised in Stockton and you have to respect that. I try to head here first unless it's something that I truly need to step into that madness called H.D. I neighbor recommended VM and their prices were competitive and I switched along with buying a new larger propane tank from them. Both of their service technicians I have met were professional, wore masks, and did excellent work. I was happy to switch to a local family owned business.

The propane area was blocked by a U-Haul truck they could t find the keys for. After they finally found the keys and moved the truck, I pulled to the propane fill area. Then I watched the guy help a customer that showed up after me. Eventually he told me to ring the bell that he wasn't certified for propane. (Why not tell me that as you were originally helping me?) I ring the bell then go inside to find that two more people that showed up after me were in line. I asked if there was someone helping with propane. As the lady explained to me, she 'didn't have super powers so it's only her to do propane' and help guests in the line.
