We took home a few samples and decided on what we wanted. We then scheduled a time for Kipp to come by and do a formal measurement and quote. No pressure - no gimmicks. Kipp knows his stuff about flooring. We then arranged to have the carpet installed. They worked around our schedule to set up the install. We moved many of the little things but the crew that did the installation handled the big furniture items and were very careful. The installation crew that Spencer Flooring uses were professional, knew their craft and were very polite. They did a nice job of cleaning up also. We are really happy with the carpeting and the overall experience and I'd highly recommend using Spencer Flooring.

I will definitely say that seeing all the showroom models really helped me better understand what I wanted vs what I needed vs what makes the most sense for my window situation. Even after a very informative and eye-opening experience in the showroom, I had trouble committing because, well, I always have trouble! But going there really helped me decide. Ultimately, I scheduled an appointment for an in-home consultation, basic measurements and quote. Marla sent Nancy for my visit and she was just a breath of fresh air to work with! From one knowledgeable person to another. It made the final decision really easy when I worked with two people who have been in the business a long time and really understood what they were talking about. Nancy gave me a lot of good guidance on top of what Marla had already shared with me in the showroom. Nancy was exceptional at the gentle nudging that really helped solidify my decisions with regards to what styles of coverings to use on each window (taking into consideration what room of the house it was, which direction it was facing and what would be seen from outside). It eased my nerves to work with someone who had the answers and explanations I needed. She helped me narrow down styles, colors, trim styles, retractable mechanism options, material and everything else! It was such a weight to finally decide! My official measurements and installation appointments were completed by Jacob and his helper Mike. Really nice guys. They were so quick and efficient with their time. Although they were in and out in no time, it didn't at all feel rushed. The product installation knowledge was clear in their efficiency and ease of service. They were also very respectful of my home and took necessary measure to ensure not trekking in outside dirt or leaving any trash behind. They also made sure to provide me with all the necessary reminders for new installations and warranty paperwork. Ultimately, I decided on all Hunter Douglas products for the exceptional quality built and materials as well as warranty offered. The products I chose were: -Hunter Douglas Palm Beach Vinyl Shutters (easy to maintain and clean, will not yellow for decades- LIFETIME WARRANTY!) on all front facing windows- for aesthetics and curb appeal. -Hunter Douglas Duette Honeycomb shades for all other windows facing the back and sides of house. Depending on room and accessibility to shade, some have the Literise (mania lift) and some have the Ultraglide (wand with hidden cord). Honeycombs obstruct my view the least and the cord mechanism has a lifetime warranty so I don't have to stress about the 5 year limited warranty on a motorized shade. I have all the extended details if anyone is really interested. But I've already divulged too much here. Cost was another positive thing. I won't share specifics as that will depend on what specific options you choose, but I don't think you can ever go wrong with the quality of Hunter Douglas products and warranty. All I know is, I got a price quote and then after the final measurement, it came back cheaper because Nancy found an active rebate for me! Woohoo! The process from start to finish was a mere 4-5 weeks at the time of my purchases. The final result was custom built window coverings that were made to fit all of my windows precisely. Definitely not something I could ever accomplish on my own. I paid for the experience of working with a completely professional and knowledgeable team as well as top tier quality products. I can't rave enough about Elite Shutters. I can't wait to send more clients their way. Thanks to the entire Elite team for a phenomenal experience!
