They couldn't squeeze me in until three weeks later on the 4th of December. The technician arrived at my house, a day early, on the 3rd of December. Fortunately I was home. The technician worked on the unit and told me that the valve was faulty and that he would have to order a part. He had no idea how long it usually takes, but he said he would have the office give me a call. After waiting a week for a call from the office, I decided to call to check on my part order. I was placed on terminal hold with the same recorded message repeating every 2 minutes, until finally, after holding for nearly 20 minutes, someone answered the phone, but the person who answered the phone said they didn't know anything about my parts and transferred me to another phone line with a voice mail box that couldn't accept messages. I had things to do, so decided to call back the following day. I called back the following day, endured the same recording played over and over and over and finally someone answered. He said a part was ordered but had no idea when it would arrive. Finally three weeks later, I called again and endured the same recording .... and so it went. After calling three separate times on that day, someone answered and said the part was in, but they couldn't fit me into the schedule until the 22nd of January. Geez Louise! You'd think they would have set aside a time in sync when they anticipated the part, but no. So finally on January 22nd, some 10 weeks later, the part was installed and service restored. Then came the shock that I was not prepared for. The repair total was $600. I have recommended Archie's before based upon the service in 2022, but not after this fiasco.

He was professional and respectful and left my living room spotless after inspecting and cleaning my fireplace. We received a comprehensive report on the state of our fireplace with recommendations and quotes for everything that wasn't perfect, but Matt was careful to reassure my husband that our fireplace was in great shape for its age (close to 100!) and all the updates would simply be to get it up to current codes. He gave us all the info we needed but no pressure to buy additional services. We have recommended him to friends and will use him for our annual inspections and cleaning from now on, and when we are ready to make the big updates, he will be the one we call for sure.

We had a two-story entryway that needing painting and they wound up painting the upstairs hallway so that they were done at the same time. Their pricing was in line or better than other estimates we received. We only had them paint the walls (since I was waiting to paint the trim during a later project). I don't know what/if they offer in the way of helping you pick paint since we already had the paint (we'd been painting other walls already and had purchased plenty of paint), but they did let us know how many gallons they'd likely need to be sure that we had enough on hand. Excellent explanation of the process and the time it would take. They communicated well and let us know when another (outdoor) job had run a few days behind and we were able to schedule a good date for us both. I work at home and they respected the need to keep noise down - they were so quiet! The preparation to protect the area where they worked was thorough and the paint job was excellent. The clean up was superb - except for well-painted walls, you wouldn't have known we had anyone there that day! They had let me know if I wanted them to work a longer day that they could have it done in one day and they delivered! The attention to detail and quality of the work makes me highly recommend them for your interior painting needs!
