We made a plan for Gabriel to come out the following Monday morning at 9 AM to do the job. Aesthetics: 3 out of 5 Function: 0 out of 5 Creativity; 2 out of 5 I had a rod iron fence that enclosed my front side yard and courtyard. The backyard has a standard wooden fence. The gate to the RV access separated the two. I needed this gate to combine the wood fence and iron fence together. What I got was a gate with a basic iron frame and wooden slats. (I should have been more specific on what I wanted so I cannot blame this entirely on him but his artistic ability was basic IMO. ) The problem was just a few months after it was built the boards started falling off! He had used Tek screws instead of wood screws. Although there was an iron brace, there were holes already for the screws so wooden screws should have been used. I called and he said that he would fix it. He sent over two of his workers and they fixed only the boards that had fallen off or were loose. Two or three months go by and I shut the gate to keep my dogs in the back yard while I opened the rod iron gate to the side street. One of my dogs broke through and almost got hit by a car! He was able to push off two boards to get to another dog being walked. Fortunately he was not hit by the car coming down the street and the other dog was friendly as well. It is a poorly designed gate that is not even functional. I can only speculate on how good the welds are... He had an opportunity to correct this mistake and did not do it. I DO NOT recommend GC Welding - not at all! read more

For many years I worked at a company that had a welding and metal fab shop that I could use for projects. When I moved to the Sacramento area I still had small projects but couldn't find a shop to do them. A couple of small shops blew me off so I was encouraged when I found Gabrial Cullen. I needed a custom stair railing and made a drawing. Gabe produced the railing in two parts, upper and lower. They were to be powder coated in white but he had problems with his powder coat company because of the pandemic and had to use another shop who just sprayed it. This is a warning for anyone considering GC Welding. Gabrial took our money and lied about starting the project multiple times. I finally asked to see the progress on the handrail since he kept pushing us off, and he stopped answering our calls and texts altogether. I finally called from a blocked number and he admitted to lying and avoiding us since he never even started the handrail. He then promised to return our deposit of $1560, but now won't return our calls again. That was November 2020 and we haven't received a call back or a single dollar of the money he owes. This is the worst experience I've had with a tradesman since I started 12 years ago and have never dealt with someone so dishonest. Only give Gabrial money you are ok with losing. read more
