My wife have bad experienced with this Company about their delivery. The pick up right away when they need to pick up but when it comes to delivery it took 6 months for them to deliver her boxes twice. Her third shipment was picked up on Dec. 2020 and its now May 17, 2021 and the box is not yet delivered. She should have learned a lesson. The person who picks up in our area quit and moved to another due to many complaints he said. So frustrated with their delivery system. We sent boxes to Freedom Cargo and it arrived in just two months to the same address that GCM said could not deliver according to their reasoning. So it proved to us that they were just lying to when we called twice at their delivery office. Their phone numbers at Houston does not even worked. One of the number does not answer at all. Pick up of the balikbayan box from the house was exceptional. The cost to ship the box is competitive. What I did not like and did not find out until I went to track the box I sent is that boxes from Texas to the Philippines are delivered to their Cebu warehouse. Great if your box is going somewhere in Cebu, not so great if your box is going to a province on Luzon. Also, the box has been sitting at their Cebu ware house for a couple of weeks. I called today 11/12/18 and was told it is supposed to be shipped to the "manila" warehouse sometime this week, then be scheduled for delivery from there. Why has it been sitting in the Cebu warehouse...looks like it will be there for another week. I asked if it would be delivered to it's destination by 11/22/18 which is Thanksgiving and was told "hopefully around that time". What does that mean? read more

It's my first time using GCM and will never use them again. I asked when was the next cut off before I sent my box and the agent said 03/09 , that's why I finished packing the box so it can get picked up. My box was picked up 03/05 and it was not loaded until 03/31 (based on the tracking) . As of this writing 05/27 they already changed the ETA in Cebu a few times, extending by 4 days to a week each time. The original ETA in Cebu of 05/15 Is now 06/04 estimated departure from a port in Taiwan!! Some of the stuff inside the box are already expired by the time it gets to Laguna. I was told by the agent who no longer works there that 2 months is the typical transit time!!! I'm already worried and pissed but reading about posts of other people on their Facebook page (Global Cargo Movers Texas, see it for yourself) saying they sent their boxes, Dec of 2020 , and they still haven't received their boxes, I think it's safe to say that this is really just a bad company! read more

I dropped off my box last Dec.28,2020. I track it online for today's date June 30,2021 still in Taiwan.Seriously??? and the loading date was April,2021.They waited 4 months before they load my box from Houston. I invested my time, effort and money just to send the box but GMC people/workers are not quite helpful and the costumer service is very poor.They didn't reply my text, call or chat messages.Are they avoiding their customer?So disappointed! I shipped 3 boxes to Leyte Philipines and the boxes went to Cebu when I called the GCM in Jacksonville Fl. they gave me one excuse after another why the boxes didn't arrive at their destination now they don't respond to my phone calls and the agent told me she was in the hospital last time I called I called the GCM location in Cebu and they told me they don't know where the boxes are, all boxes going to Leyte have to go to Manila and it's been 90 days and I can't get any information on the shipment I never had this problem with other shippers. Extremely disappointed. I send my 4boxes last week of Nov 2020 and another 2boxes in March 2021 but until now still in transit all my boxes.....and look It's JUNE now, that boxes was supposed to be a birthday present to my grandson that celebrated his 1yr birthday last month. Beware!! We mailed two boxes from a store in San Antonio, on 10 October, 2018. We contacted our family in northern Luzon, and they said, "no, nobody has called"! I had the lady from the Pinoy store in San Antonio call on January 2nd, 2019, she says, "boxes are in Cebu, and should be delivered in two weeks". I told them, it has already been 80 days! Question, why are these boxes going to Cebu, then Manila, then Luzon...this is a long journey for boxes. This is very disappointing, because we wanted to have the boxes in Luzon by Christmas, would have been about 67 days. When you call Cebu, they just say, "sorry, our computer is down". When you call Manila, they told me, "it's in Cebu, should be shipped in a week". For sure, "Ugh, I do know, maybe". Terrible customer service, logistics, and a fraud! They are hurting families and do not care people spent lots of money buying food, clothes and supplies for our families, plus the cost of the box. Stay away!! read more

Wanted to support this local business, only to be extremely disappointed in their service. Dropped of a box early January 2021. Tracking shows it was loaded March 2021. Estimated departure from TAIWAN is June 2021. Does not say when it's to arrive in the Philippines, which might be Cebu first before going to Manila. So I'm guessing my box won't arrive until August 2021. COVID or not, they should update their website and keep their customers informed of delays. The last update was March 2020. It's now May 2021. COVID or not, I know of other companies that were able to deliver into the Philippines without delays. This is a smaller shipping company. I wouldn't recommend them. You're better off using reliable shipping companies even if it cost a little bit more to ship with them. Reading all of the reviews are spot on. I encourage those who are reading these reviews to share with with their friends. By the time my box arrives I will tell our family no to eat any of the canned goods or treats as they will probably be expired and/or spoiled from being in a shipping container for more than 3 months. Absolutely disappointing. I hate having to write this poor review as I believe that Filipinos should support one another, but 4 months and counting to ship a box. Really?! I'm not even going to bother to call and complain. But this GCM company is just the first time. Damn took so long to received. Well finally for almost 5 months my family waited for the package. . i was disappointed and angry And Many were lost inside the box and fortunately I only sent one package,thanks god !. The lost are new dresses, new clothes, stuffed animals, expensive brand new shoes, sandals and blankets and vitamins .... this company should be investigated and closed! I know you have complained a lot here since then.
