The initial consultation was very thorough and professional and informative. They set a trap and will be back in a week. I'm very impressed so far. I just wait to hear a call back, no animals where ever caught in the trap, so I just let it sit. Eric gets back to me and says he will come out and take care of the trap, I told him I never followed up just because I never saw anything In the trap. He said no problem. He would come out and take care of the trap and secure the the wholes that where there as he had instructed me he would when he showed up for the initial consultation. He also told me about a tree branch I should have cut, which I did while the trap was laying idle. So all together, I was very pleased. He even asked me to check his work, that I thought was great, because anyone can do a job and leave and you would have no idea how honest they are then it's your fault for trusting the guy. All in all this is a great company if you have animal issues. Very thorough, explained things and responsive. It was pretty $$$, but the work I received was wry good and I knew I was in good hands. A month later, we get ANOTHER invoice for ALMOST $900 advising this would be the balance for remainder of year. Patton did NOT perform ANY services the first half of the year. We always must call them to remind the company that we paid for their services and we always have to call & ask them to actually come out and perform the work. They came ONLY ONE time and I really thought that the $400.31 was high for the balance of the year considering they ONLY came ONE TIME. I called them and the young lady was less than pleasant stating OH! our prices went up. Up from $500 a year to $1,200 a year? more than twice as much without even discussing any of this with us. A customer for more than 15 years. This company has absolutely, inconsiderately & uncaringly decided to just rape & pillage a very long standing customer. Not by raising their prices but the way they have done it. My advice is for customers that need pest control, is to shop around for pricing to make sure they are getting a fair shake. I submit that this is ridiculous. They came only ONE time, in early June and they were here only 1/2 hour. It figures we still have bugs EVERYWHERE. This was my first time receiving these services so I only now know that I was completely ripped off (their pricing is absurd compared to others). Take your business elsewhere. Lastly, when you call them you have to leave a message and they call back. Pretty painful experience of playing phone tag. I remember thinking how odd it was they don't have employees ready to answer customer calls. The writing was on the wall. Take your business elsewhere.
