His only verifiable degree is an MBA. He settled a 2014 lawsuit for misrepresenting his credentials and perforating a patient's colon during a colonic irrigation, causing severe injury. His website and LinkedIn show no state-issued medical or naturopathic license, yet he offers colonics, naturopathy, diabetes prevention, hCG weight loss, and food sensitivity testing, deceiving clients about his qualifications. He threatened to share the text thread with my medical history in retaliation for a negative review, a potential HIPAA violation, though he may not be bound by HIPAA as an unlicensed provider. The door to the Facility was locked, which left me waiting outside in the heat. I called her cell phone a few times before she answered, and she told me she was on her way back from Intermezzo. She was not apologetic at all. Catherine, had me, the customer, waiting 20 minutes because she wanted to go to Intermezzo next door. I would have appreciated the a call or text notifying me of her tardiness. She insisted that I do the microneedling instead, because she thought it would be more beneficial for my skin. She offered me a deal that included three sessions microneedling along with a discounted price for the serums she deemed were necessary to buy as part of the microneedling treatment. The first treatment went fine. Catherine shaved all the hair on my face, even asked me how I wanted my sideburns shaved. Very detailed. When I arrived at the second session, not only was she 20 minutes ate, but ended up canceling my appointment. Catherine told me she booked me and another customer who is a lawyer, which she wasn't even there yet, at the same time. She said that the lawyer tips big, so she had to take her instead of me. Again, not apologetic at all. There was nothing I could do at that point, so I patiently waited for her and rescheduled my second session. The second session went fine. She was actually there when I arrived at the start of my appointment, and after scheduled my last session. My Last appointment Catherine was late AGAIN!! To make matters worse, she wanted to reschedule so she could take her lawyer customer again. At this point I felt disrespected. My time is valuable, and gas is not cheap to just be driving back and forth and around to accommodate a schedule that Catherine cannot keep up with. I didn't know if it was because I am black or if my tips were not big enough to her standards to receive quality customer service. Maybe even money hungry. I expressed my frustrations to her and asked for my money back. She said she could not do that. She didn't even offer any alternative solutions for her terrible customer service & inconvenience. I even asked to escalate this matter, but she said she was the one in charge and the one I would need to speak to regarding complaints. Again, not apologetic at all. I was left no other choice but to reschedule my last appointment with her. I sensed a lot of passive aggressive on her end, as if it was me being unprofessional. Very negative demeanor. At the rescheduled last appointment, Catherine was there and on time. She did not greet me with a smile or a warm welcome at all as she does her other customers. A very different demeanor then when we had our first interactions. This session went horribly. As Catherine was doing my microneedling she cut me, and I jumped from the pain. She tried to downplay it & said oh its fine it's just a little cut, it happens. Still not apologetic. She didn't even get all of the hair off my face, along with cutting by sideburns so unevenly. As if it was on purpose. It usually takes about a week or two for the face to heal after this procedure. The first two times it healed just fine. Unfortunately, with this last session, the cut that Catherine did, did not heal. I sent her a picture via text to get a solution for the problem she caused. She said she could not see the cut well in the picture and insisted I come in to see her, so I go with the hopes she would actually help me. When I went in to see her at the time she gave me, she was already with a customer. I waited about 15 minutes before she came out. Catherine literally came out for 2 minutes looked at it and said its fine, it's normal. it'll heal and sent me off. A waste of time. The area is dark with a scar. I wonder if her actions in the last session was an accident or a malicious act due to me telling her my frustrations .I recorded our interactions for evidence, and not sure how to move forward.
