My neighbor & I paid him to build a privacy fence and treat all boards with wood preservative. I even provided the preservative product! I was out of town when Omar claimed to be done with work, so I paid him via Venmo so as not to make him wait for my return... in short, I trusted his word. However, when I returned home, I found that he had not treated the fence boards with the wood preservative as agreed upon & paid. He told us he would return to finish a few times but has never shown & does not communicate anything about why or when - towards rescheduling. We are out $200 paid to do the wood panels treatment and 3 boards have warped + one has a big knot hole. I did not order a peep hole into my neighbor's yard. I do realize that warping happens but past contractors have always agreed to replace flawed lumber at no extra cost. I have been both shocked & perplexed by Omar's lack of interest in resolving the issues and his inability to stick to a schedule timeframe commitment. I realize the heat is a factor but it is cool in the mornings, thanks to the Delta breeze - may it keep rolling into Sacramento! Still no word from Omar. See attached text which is the 2nd commitment to get back to finish work, but no arrival yet. Also, Omar once told me "5 star yelps only" as if it's a requirement - this is the ego one deals with here. This guy is is more ego than work ethic. He also sent me a few flippant texts to express his great worth, despite a mis-calculation where he installed steel posts incorrectly & had me advance some payment, so he could buy the tool to cut the metal post. Approach with caution, my friends & do not pay until you see all work completed. I am still waiting to hear back from Omar on my project that has been paid in full, yet remains incomplete - since early June.

Eric came out and did an oven replacement for us prior to Thanksgiving. Because of having space…read morelimitations at the time of install, he requested that we allow him to return to pick up the old oven as part of the agreed-upon contract to remove and dispose of it. We had some difficulty getting hold of him after the repair for the pick up. I was finally able to get in touch with him, and he assured me he would be by the Tuesday of Thanksgiving week to pick up the old oven. Unfortunately we were unable to contact him after he did not show up. Have left several messages, and his phone goes direct to voicemail. We waited to review him because with the holidays we wanted to give the benefit of the doubt that he may have had other obligations for the holiday. However we're now on the following Tuesday and have still been unable to establish contact with him. My hope is that there has just been something preventing him from returning our calls, and that we will hear from him soon. Will update this review after contact is established. Hopefully before Christmas.
