It was very targeted and I felt like a new person. The second round didn't seem to be quite as effective, but I did also ask for more coverage and I'm thinking I should've just stayed focused on the site of injury rather than the areas where pain radiates. I wish my insurance would cover more frequent injections for times like this, but Dr. Zach was really great about discussing other options and communicating with my insurance and myself, so that I don't come in and have to pay out-of-pocket for anything without knowing about it well in advance. The front desk girl, I feel so terrible that I forget her name, but she has always been really wonderful with me, as were Samantha (vitals) & Maria (procedures). I appreciate being listened to, heard, and not treated like someone who's just trying to come in and get prescriptions. All I want is targeted relief, to avoid oral medication, and to remain myself through the process of healing. It seems like they really respect that that is my preference. They call me and answer the phone, which is more than I can say for the other pain management doctor I've been sent to.

I was initially seen by Dr. Kevin Kempf and after various tests, x-rays, etc he was finally able to diagnose my condition. Unfortunately, Dr. Kempf moved on to his own office and my insurance didn't allow me to follow him. However, Dr. John Huff took over my case and was a godsend. I was under his care until he retired last year. At that time he sold his practice to Dr. Fernando Silva. After Dr. Silva took over, I assumed he would want to review my case on my first trip in to see him. However, he let his PA see me. Ok, well he will see me on my second trip. No. Again, he let his PA see me. He finally saw me on my third trip but he was less than interested in my treatment. I continued to stay with this office due to the infusion nurse Mary. She was awesome. Unfortunately, 2020 has brought us the pandemic and things went crazy. The night before my March infusion, Mary called to let me know that Dr. Silva was not letting any patients come to the offices for treatment. He was handling everything by phone. That's great, except you can't get an infusion over the phone! They made no plans on how they were going to take care of their infusion patients. Basically, they said "take care of yourself"! Then they had the nerve this week to call and ask if I needed an appointment. What a joke they are! Fortunately, I was able to get in to see Dr. Kempf in March and have happily been with him ever since. A review on his office will be posted soon. If you have need of a great rheumatologist, please stay away from Dr. Silva!

Dr. Bakhsh is exactly the kind of person to put your mind at ease. He is friendly, soft spoken and has a good sense of humor too. Unlike most doctors I've come across, he is very humble and down-to-earth too so any questions you have can be asked without fear or hesitation. My favorite thing about him is the fact that he gives you exercises to fix your spinal issues so that eventually you don't have to come back. He is one of the few chiropractors out there that wants to heal you NOT just "treat your symptoms" and continue to take your money time and time again. During sessions for my lower back and neck issues, he adjusts me carefully and has never hurt me and he also utilizes electrical currents to stimulate the muscles in the problem areas for about 8-12 minute increments. There is never any pain involved though just a funny vibrating sensation within the muscles themselves while they contract. All in all, he is a fair doctor with a small practice and I hope more ppl find out how truly wonderful he is.

I performed the treatment once a day (either at home or at work) for approximately 4 weeks and experienced amazing improvement. I had a total of 4 appointments with Dr Bakhsh. He outlined the subscription services that he provides. After an assessment of the level of care she requires outside of palliative hospice, I felt subscription service may be too excessive in scope and price since she does not see doctors regularly. In any event, I am writing this review to inform readers that this doctor seems to be on the up on up and may be ideal for anyone who wants to control medical expenses while receiving optimum care. At discharge nurse dismissed my father's breathing difficulties, wheezing and fast breathing. Pushed him into wheelchair despite my concern for his respiratory status. Was rushing to get him out because "she was getting another patient", gave incomplete and incorrect post op teaching where my mother didn't know what to do. When asked about an ice machine for recovery said "well I'll sell ya one for $200". Then provided no education, said there is a pamphlet that shows you what to do because she was rushing him out. Then did not verify post op medication discrepancy with surgeon which led to father missing dose of pain medication at home. Father was a number and nothing more. As a 22yr ortho/surgical nurse I would suggest going elsewhere. Will not allow anyone with patient while they are being preoped which can lead to mistakes in medical history, and caregivers being unaware of what they need to do. As well as cause anxiety for patient and family.

He has minimal staff turnover, which speaks volumes about the office environment. His practice uses retainer medicine, which means I pay a quarterly fee and I get a wealth of benefits, including a comprehensive physical with advanced tests my insurance wouldn't normally cover. He also accepts my insurance for almost everything, so my copays are reasonable. Because he's in solo practice and doesn't use PAs or NPs, I know I'll always get to see my doctor who knows me well. I appreciate the after hours access, smaller patient load, ease of getting appointments, and great coordination of care being with a retainer doc allows. If you're someone with chronic health issues or like having consistent, easy access to a caring doctor, I think you'll like being Dr. Comfort's patient.
