The first time I met my doctor, he was accompanied by a sales representative for a spinal device that the practice was aggressively hawking. I had been warned about the questionable ethics of this group before I went, but I was in pain and desperate and knew no alternatives. When I called six months later to make an appointment, I was told my doctor was no longer with the group. That did not surprise me since I had noticed before I made my first appointment that the doctors with the highest customer ratings no longer worked there, even though they still appeared to be with the practice in online ratings. When I requested my doctor's new contact information, the staff refused to give me any information. This response seemed extraordinary to me, and again, not ethical.

At 10:45 I was asked to go into the room where I'd be seen. I then put on my"paper" shorts because Dr Seda had asked me at my prior appointment to just take them with me so they wouldn't have to dispose of them. And, I did. At about 11 o'clock the receptionist came in and handed me an envelope. I joked with her and asked if it was a check. She said, he'd be with me shortly. I opened the envelope and read the letter and to my dismay he was telling me he could no longer service me. He mentioned that I treated his staff unfairly. This was news to me as I've always had a good relationship with his entire staff. I was dumbfounded with this letter. Why, as a professional Dr wouldn't he address this with me in person rather than write a stupid letter. Yes, stupid and foolish. In the 6-7 years that I've been seeing this man for holistic care and ozone therapy , all I've ever heard from them is how wonderful a patient i am and hugs and kisses from everyone. I feel a bit of hypocrisy coming from all of them. I have the right to be upset as I was not treated with dignity. I asked her "how are the doctors at BAMC to know a complete list of providers in your group and what their specific specialties are? Do you have a list of them and their areas of expertise that I can see?" She did not have any such material to give or show to me. She offered no help and I do believe she failed the course on customer service. We will try to find a different provider I think.
