This was by far one of the most convenient parking garages to a venue we've ever used. We were here just a few days ago. The parking attendants keep things flowing. The ingress and egress was fairly smooth, compared to other garages we've used in the past, especially if you linger for about 45 minutes leaving. The catwalk to the Center was an extra bonus. Going to another show at the Center tonight, but I procrastinated buying my parking here and it is sold out (WTF). Trying out a nearby parking garage. If you have the $20 to spend it is definitely worth it to pay to park in the Geico Garage for your sporting event or concert, especially during the rainy season here in FL. I ended up utilizing this parking on a day I went to the Orlando Solar Bears game and it was pouring out! It's completely covered and there's a sky bridge that connects the garage to the arena, so we didn't have to worry about getting rained on! read more

Not sure why I gave this parking garage only 4 stars nine years ago. We usually have an event at least once a month at the Amway Center. Excuse me, the Kia Center... not sure how long it's going to take me to get use to that change. We were literally there like three weeks ago and it was the Amway - we'll be there tomorrow night and now it's the Kia. I digress... Anyway, this garage definitely deserves 5 stars since I've been using a lot of other garages in downtown Orlando, I totes see how great this one is. I always pay for parking when I buy tickets and currently it's $20 to park when you purchase at the same time via Ticketmaster. I'm sure there are probably taxes and convenience fees thrown in there somewhere so it's probably a little more than $20. Parking is covered and the people who are directing you keep things moving in a timely fashion. The spaces are large enough to handle SUVS, trucks, and larger cars - many of the older garages in downtown O-Town have itty bitty tiny parking spaces. A walk-way straight over to the arena so you don't have to get wet. Perfection. We always sit in the car for about 15 minutes or so because I'd rather just chill and listen to music and play on my phone instead of getting frustrated in the bumper to bumper madness of leaving. I'd say on average the garage is always emptied out 20-30 minutes after an event finishes and that is not a bad wait. My advice is to get to the event as early as you can when the garage opens. Just makes for getting a better space. If you're going to an event at Amway, purchase you're parking here. It's worth every penny. Safe and well-lit. Security is around. read more

One of the easiest ways to park for an event at the Kia center. This garage is usually never full and has a spot or two open on game day. Parking is a bit pricy and you can usually find street parking cheaper. This is a good alternative to parking on the street or in an unknown lot though. The only downside is the typical traffic leaving after an event. It's always bumper to bumper. Not a bad spot though! They have a bridge that's easy access to the stadium. The cue from the garage to the stadium usually goes fast too. read more

Clean garage. The 5th floor gives you a way to cross over into the Amway Center using an enclosed glass bridge to attend sporting events and concerts, etc. The staircases are open air/outside. Easy access to the highway entrance and exit. read more

Many kudos to the City of Orlando, all of the staff at the Geico Garage and the Kia Center. We visited in March 2023 and again Nov 2024, both times the visit was FLAWLESS, FAST AND EFFICIENT!!! I am super impressed!! Been to MANY, many events from sporting, concerts, etc and the ease, speed, and efficiency we have experienced here have by far been the absolute best!! You really have figured it out and execute. Congrats!! Many other cities and venues should learn from you! To get this many people in for the Orlando Magic game without a single minute wait and back out at the end is not an easy task but you sure make it seem that way. Hats off to you! read more

What a lot of people don't seem to understand is there's 20,000 people leaving the stadium at once, 1,900 parking spots in one garage and all of downtown traffic on top of that. Of course you aren't going to be able to get out in 20 minutes. Going into these events you should expect to sit in traffic on the way out. The workers don't want you there, they want you to leave, the faster you leave the faster they go home. Point is don't get mad at the workers and follow whichever way they send you because that garage is very confusing and they know the best way out. read more

This parking garage is abysmal to get in and out of. They never seem to have enough staff, and while we have so much knowledge on how to do parking right from our nearby theme parks. We can't seem to figure it out in downtown Orlando. GEICO should be ashamed to have their name on this thing. read more

On 2/28/24 I went to a Magic game. When I drove up they asked if I had a parking pass which I have no idea about it and that it's available. So they tell me to turn around and use the lot on Division right across the garage. Well they charged me $30. Later I find out there's plenty of other lots for only $10. Seems like the employees from the Geico garage are working together ripping people off with that independent lot across the street. read more

Why does it take 35 minutes to get out of the garage? That's a fail. Shut the place down.

The Geico Garage takes payment online so that you can reserve your spot. If you are attending an event at the Amway Center I highly recommend that utilize this convenience. Parking around the area can become hectic and confusing when hundreds of cars are are trying to accomplish the same goal. Parking costs $20.00 and the website is Ticketmaster.com. You can also purchase a spot at the Amway Center Box office during business hours. There are four electric charging stations that can not be specifically reserved. Whoever gets there first wins. Security is pretty tight but I would not leave valuables in plain sight. read more

Easy access for concerts at the amway! Would recommend for being close, clean and safe.

We parked here once when attending a Cher concert. I liked having the guaranteed parking spot, and to be honest, the covered and relatively safe access to the Amway Center is very nice. We got there during the opening act so all that was available was level 8, but the elevators took us to level 5, where the bridge was. There weren't a lot of cars coming in at that point t and plenty of parking available for sure. Easy access to get through security and then into the event. What I didn't like and was dramatically decreases the star rating is the ginormous rush of people and the inability to move onto the bridge when the event is over. There were so many people trying to go through three doors that many folks chose to sit down and wait the flood of people out rather than be stuck in it. The line to leave the garage was long and there was no method or direction. The worst thing though was the parking attendant that guided us into a spot and then asked for a tip. We were told he would make it worth our while when we left if we gave him something. No thanks. read more

Eh, they say this is reserved/pre-paid parking for most events but I have parked in here a few times without pre-paying or when it was free with an event, like season ticket holder events for the Magic. It's UBER close to the Arena with an indoor overpass to walk across the way which is great if it's raining. However, if you get there early, be ready for a line at the door in the parking garage. This is more when family events happen, like the circus. It's confusing inside. Yes, they have people showing you were to go for most events but the signage is terrible! I was shocked at how confusing it was the first time I went in. Overall, I only use this if it has a benefit, like staying out of the rain. Other than that, I just park free or for $5 across from Ember and walk to the Arena... we have that benefit since we have such a small DT. read more

Easy to get into within 60-75 minutes of the Citrus bowl from I-4. Stalls were big. REALLY easy to get out of and back into I-4 taking a right out of the exit. Controlled access in and area that is not the greatest. $10 parking reasonable before all the Ticketmaster add-ons (fees ridiculous for a parking spot), but glad to have reserved spot and not worry about seeking out a spot in a non-controlled lot. read more

It was nice having a prepaid parking pass for the Miley Cyrus concert... It was definitely a lot easier to find parking that way! The price for parking is a little high, but well worth the price since the garage is right next to the Amyway Center. The main problem I have... And apparently most people have is it is confusing as heck navigating throughout this garage!! But if being a little confused doesn't bother you I would suggest using this garage if you're going to an event at or near the Amway Center... Because well... It's convenient!!! read more

They were people behind me so instead of trying to help she spoke rudely and told me to pay again. This is a great place to park next to the Amway Center when you are going to concerts. The $20 parking is the same in an open lot next to the garage and you do not get the security, covered parking or the walk way bridge over to the arena from the 5th floor. Like Amy said you can reserve your parking access online when you buy concert tickets and I like the idea of knowing I have a spot to park when I travel to Orlando. read more

I can't complain about this garage. While parking was pretty steep for a whopping $20 for the event (WWE RAW 2/16/15) we had the convenience that we were right next to the Amway. They have a bridge that connects directly to the arena, but it gets s packed as people are waiting to get in. But the crowd is crazy and you can hear them cheering and chanting throughout the garage. Yes, this is a very confusing parking garage. Exiting was scary because we almost couldn't find our way out but we managed eventually. Convenience over pricing wins in this case because we were able to see the wrestlers as they exited to get into their cars, and we didn't have to walk two very tired children around town to get to our car. I recommend it to those who aren't worried about the price over the convenience of not having to walk a distance. read more

I haven't parked at the Geico Garage for an event, but recently started parking there for work through an agreement my company has with Amway. The garage is super confusing and I actually got lost a few times until I became familiar with the layout. Yes, that's right... go ahead and laugh... I got lost inside a parking garage. In my defense, there were no other cars entering/exiting at the time. It's probably a lot easier when you're there for an event and following a line of cars in. The first thing that caught me off guard is that normally when going up a ramp you turn the same direction to keep heading up. But in the Geico Garage you first turn right to get to the 2nd floor, then make a left to the 3rd floor. The second thing I found confusing is the signage for the 4th/5th floors. Heading up from the 3rd floor, the first sign you see is for the 5th floor, which points left. Then the sign for the 4th floor is positioned in such a way that it looks like you're supposed to drive off the side of the building. What they're trying to indicate is that the 4th floor entrance is past the ramp up to the 5th floor, but I think a curved arrow would have been a better choice. I recently got a fitness tracker and am always trying to get in as many steps as I can, so I haven't used the elevators yet, but the stairs are also somewhat strange and annoying. The most convenient exit is at the northwest corner of the garage and has stairs that go from the 5th floor down to the ground floor. (Although it's not one continuous staircase.) However at certain times of day the door will be blocked so you can't enter that way. I discovered another door further down the street that looks as though it's locked, but actually isn't. That door has a set of stairs that goes up to the 2nd floor only and stops. Then from there I have to walk back to the northwest stairs and keep climbing from there. I know these are all first world problems, and not a huge deal now that I've got the garage figured out, but I just needed to vent. On the positive side, the one thing I do like about the garage is that the parking spaces are painted with buffer lines around all the spots. It doesn't completely solve for crappy parkers, but it helps. read more

Be careful in this garage. Event price is $20. But parking spaces are very tight. I had my car damaged by another one who couldn't fit and dented in the entire passenger side of the car. I can't get a hold of anyone from security about this. No answers, no call backs. Unknown if they have security cameras installed. You might as well save your $20 for a parking spot next to the garage for the same price and less chance of car damage. read more

I purchased advance parking through ticket master. Entry into garage was smooth. I arrived about 30 minutes before Justin Bieber and only spots left were on the top floor but they have a walkway to get to arena which was nice as it was raining. My only real issue is that they sold way more spots than were available. There were cars parked all over making it difficult to navigate when exiting. read more
