Worst experience ever. One of their insured drivers hit me on the side of my car. He apologized but when it came to me filing a claim he turned around and said I rear ended him. He lied and I could prove he committed fraud but they didn't want to hear it. I found a picture on this FB page with a picture of his bumper damage that was dated 4 months before our accident nobody cares. They are letting him get away with fraud. I am suing !!! read more

Geico must not keep tabs of their agents nor train them in the manner to make a client feel welcome. Geico is a large company, like big pharma. Big in didvidends but small in customer service. Karma always wins in the end...there are smaller but wiser companies building a better mouse trap as I write, better coverage, better rates and better service. Josh Glover and his boss John have been spared the axe so far. Their attitude is not consumer friendly and are impressed with their monikers. Nothing lasts forever and while they are obtuse to the people who keep them in business, someone is looking over their shoulder...guaranteed. Both kiddies do not take ownership of their jobs and have no healthy fear...someday someone will take notice and they will be dismissed from their duties. As mentioned, I have placed a formal complaint with Leticia James and have a letter of acknowledgement. The State moves slowly and I am sure in due time they will step out of bounds just enough to be called on the rug. My experience with GEICO has been incredibly disappointing. After someone else hit my car and I reported the accident, my insurance premium was raised to an unaffordable amount. Their reasoning? My 'location.' This is despite their advertising claims that they don't increase rates due to accidents. It's frustrating to deal with a company that makes bold promises in their advertisements but doesn't follow through. Their pricing practices are extremely unreasonable, and I ultimately switched to Progressive- where I've had a much better experience. My dad also left GEICO for similar reasons and I finally understand why!!! In today's economy, it's clear that companies like GEICO care more about profits than their customers' well-being. Don't be fooled by the cute gecko!!! GEICO does not live up to their claims. I signed into Yelp just to write this review. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I cannot recommend GEICO and suggest looking elsewhere for reliable coverage along with HONEST service. and they have the audacity to keep sending me mails to renew my coverage!! Heck no!!! I had Geico as my insurance company for years, right here in Buffalo so if anyone knows about this company and this location it's me. I actually lived 5 mins from this building for years in Amherst. This is the corporate headquarters and it provides a lot of jobs for WNY. Unfortunately a lot of those jobs are in, essentially, telesales. If you shoot at enough targets, you will hit some, I suppose. OK, so on the positive side, there's a cute green creature that is their spokesperson, and a cute girl named Melissa works here that is an old friend of mine. On the negative side, they are more expensive than a lot of other companies, no matter what they want you to believe. I was told that I had 7 days to fill out medical paperwork concerning my inability to work from home due to the Coronavirus and the next day after receiving the paperwork, my supervisor said he would be reviewing for my job. I had to quit to avoid being fired. I've never been fired from any job. This was a terrible way to be treated during a pandemic. read more

Honestly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Yeah GEICO is good because they are a cheap option but never realized how poor the customer service would be. In Massachusetts for leases titles need to be sent to the insurance company first and then sent to the policy owner. I have been trying to get my title from GEICO for 8 months. They have lost my title and given me countless of wrong information. When I finally thought it was done I spoke with Dan, who is supposedly a supervisor, and he said he had the title in his hand and will overnight it to me. I then cancelled my policy to get a refund of my car insurance payments. He told me to just call back once I get the title and we can issue a new policy. I tracked the shipment and of course, it said there is no tracking information as it was voided due to cancelling the policy. I have waited 8 months to cancel my policy for this very reason. Now the car company has my title again and I am back to square one. Nobody from GEICO has taken an ounce of accountability throughout the process. I have done everything on my end when I'm asked and have nothing to show for it. Don't expect much from GEICO and if you want a place with good customer service, try to refrain from them. All I want is for them to acknowledge they screwed up and make up for it which has yet to happen. read more

I have had over 50 years of auto insurance with State Farm without an issue even though I have filed claims with them. My one year experience with Geico of Getzville, NY has been a nightmare. I had co-signed a car lease with Nissan for my daughter that was insured by Geico. After one year of paid premiums, the Nissan was totaled in an accident [ my daughter was not issued a traffic ticket] and filed a claim with Geico. Geico reimbursed Nissan per the policy minus the $1000 deductible and minus an additional $802 for damages the Geico appraiser stated occurred prior to the accident. I feel if someone pays insurance premiums for one year on a auto policy with $1000 deductible that $1000 should be the maximum that one should be billed if the car is totaled. My experience with Geico has been totally negative especially in comparison to my past dealings with State Farm. I think that Geico should change their cute, little green gecko mascot to a chameleon to more accurately reflect their changing attitude from selling a policy to paying off a claim on a policy. read more

Used to have GEICO back in the day. Never really needed them for anything as I have a clean driving record. Until I got a ticket and my rates went through the roof. Went to a competitor and was quoted a much more reasonable rate, actually was $5 less per month EVEN WITH the ticket. Ah well...I guess 37 years of clean driving and 10+ years of being insured with them was not enough to maintain fair premiums. beware geico scam alert!!! they will call you to try to get you to switch if you recenty bought a new or used car using high pressure sales tactics. once switched they will tell you they will cancel your other policy for you and take care of everything. next thing you know your in an accident you call them up and they tell you "were sorry we dropped your collision and comrehensive coverage a month after you switched over to us due to a minor stipulation we never did your photo id inspection whooops! and we never called you to let you know or ended your coverage so you would have to act on the matter, we just kept you in the dark on our policy through some loophole so you would think you still have full coverage when you actually don't have any collision or comprehensive at all!! have a nice day sir".... wow total bs they intentionally dont call you and hope you dont find out they dropped your coverage and cover it up by keeping you on their policy through some bs loophole so you continue paying monthly bills to make you think youre still covered soo when theres an accident they dont have to pay a dime...perfect scam!! watch out thousands have already been scammed!!!! read more
