I would have gave a negative amount of stars if I could. I hope this can be seen by anyone getting ready to purchase GEICO. DONT. worst insurance.... Ever. I never once got to speak to an actual human. Ever. I didn't even know what type of insurance I had, bc I had to set it all up myself, and hope I had full coverage. I was in an accident that was the other person's fault and I had to take care of everything. Geico didn't assist w a thing. Then to make matters worse I check State Farm insurance and full coverage on a Subaru WRX is 150 cheaper a month then geico, and an actual person set up my policy. I'm really disappointed with Geico. I called and got my quote and was satisfied so switched everything over. We discussed EVERYTHING including my husband's 2 speeding tickets from 2 and 3 years ago where he was going 5 mph over. That's it. No accidents. My record is perfect with no tickets! She said she saw them and assured me my quote included them because she ran the DMV report right then on our call. I got everything situated, paid in full for 6 months and after my hour long phone call, we were finally done. Then, I get a letter a week later saying I owe an EXTRA $240 because their underwriters found my husband's 2 speeding tickets. I was PISSED. Are you kidding me?!?! I had to waste MORE time and call them back and of course whoever answers the phone never knows anything other than we owe them $240. I explained that when I got the quote, the tickets were there! Not only did I disclose them, she saw them!!! It didn't matter. These big insurance companies just suck. I called another company and switched that day and Geico had to refund me my 6 month premium. I'm a little late getting to this..mainly because of my ignorance to find this.. But on Feb 11 2017 I switched from another car insurance carrier to Geico with the awesome guidance of Ryan Zuniga from Geico ! He was of the most helpful agent . He walked me through the whole process with ease and calm ! Most importantly , when we were done...there were no surprises as far as the rates quoted. Not only did I switch car insurance...I switched homeowners as well. If you want an easy experience in getting Car/homeowners insurance..Call Ryan Zuniga...this guy gets it done with ease !! And yes...I did save a lot of money switching to Geico... over $500 a year !!! read more

On a quick decision I decided to do an online quote with Geico. The next week I got a follow up personal letter in the mail from Ryan. He did not rush me and we took it slow. Over a three-week time frame we emailed back and forth and he compared what coverage I had and what Geico could provide. Today 2/19/2019 I called this GEICO office with questions on my auto policy. I spoke with a man calling himself Scott. I identified myself and told him I had questions about my billing. He agreed to help me, so as I started to relate my problem, he would not let me to. He was constantly interrupting me. I could not get a word in edgewise. He agreed, to let me talk, but each he would rudely talk over me. He was supposed to be a professional, but he was pushy and would not let me explain my situation, so the next time I started and he interrupted me I told him, if you would just listen, we can get this done. He continued like a disrespecting me, so I hung up. I called the 800 number on my policy and a delightful lady appoligized for him. She asked me to let her help. She listened, was courteous, didn't interrupt and low and behold in a few minutes my questions were answered to my satisfaction. This man Scott, if he isn't the manager needs to be retrained on customer PR. If Scott is the Manager, you need to take a course on PR, for you have poor quality telephone tact. I have been with this Company as a policy holder for about five years and now I am fed up with my final encounter with them. I have had one incident where they tried to say that I was at fault for an accident that I clearly wasn't and was found not guilty by courts but they declared the incident to be my fault before I evening went to court. The other incident was with the other person who is on my policy where someone clipped his mirror off, dented his door, while she was parked illegally. She then left the scene, returned almost a half hour later. Guess what happened they blamed the person who is on my policy saying he didn't use enough caution when he did clearly to get by in the first place. I am not a fan of Geico anymore. Guess what you can't appeal anything with them. So if they believe they are right with their so called investigation then thats it. Good luck!!! read more
