Ice cream is as excellent. The four flavor large size is a great value for the money, about a euro per scoop with a variety of flavors. Try the pastel de nata with the passion fruit, that was a hit! Mango is also fresh and vibrant, tiramisu was light and fluffy. Service is good but there can be a line. Naturally being in the time out market the quality is good, there are good places to sit and the ambience is nice. I'd go back again! read more

Enjoyed a lovely cup of mango and strawberry gelato and my husband got the tiramisu! We couldn't resist the decadent desserts in the case and opted to share both in order to try more of the menu. The workers were very unenthusiastic and borderline rude but the gelato itself was perfectly fine and my husband really loved his tiramisu. read more

The best gelato ever!!! Hands down. We're so sad we found this the last day in Lisbon because wow, each flavor tasted phenomenal. We ordered a small, which generously included 3 flavors. I tried the mango, coffee and Nutella. My friends tried the passion fruit, fig, fior di latte and pistachio, no flavor was a miss. The fig flavor even had a fig pieces in it! I came here to try their vegan gelato. We got the a smaller cup, which could include up to three flavors. They had a lot of vegan gelato flavors. We got the strawberry, raspberry, lemon, and maracuyá. The flavors tasted very natural and not overly sweet. I like how this place was located inside a large food hall with a lot of open and communal seating. The girl working that day could have been a little friendlier, but it was not a big deal. Very good prices for gelato, and service was friendly. We got the hazelnut, pomegranate and mango. Mango and Pomegranate were sorbet like and very fresh like the fruit- didn't taste artificial at all. I've never tried pomegranate ice cream but this tasted just like if you ground up pomegranate seeds and froze it. The hazelnut was creamy without being heavy. Really good gelato. Service was prompt. We went as a group of 6, so had a chance of try out most of the flavors. All of them are good, but the ones that really jumped out at me were the strawberry, the coffee/tiramisu (the two tasted very similar), and the salted caramel. For sour flavor lovers, the lemon and the raspberry are strong picks. I wouldnt go out of the way to come to this store, but if you happen to be nearby, this is a great place for gelato. read more

Best gelato in town! I loved the gelato here. It was so creamy and tasty. All the flavors were amazing. I came here multiple times when I was visiting Lisbon. My favorite flavor was the chocolate with oranges which had real orange peels inside. I also got the banana which had real banana chunks inside. The banana gelato tasted natural and not artificial at all. The hazelnut was also very good and tasted just like nutella. I would 100% recommend this to anyone visiting Lisbon. By far the best gelato I have had in a while. I still wish I could go back for some more. read more

Excited to be the first review, but it certainly won't be the last! We were told by a tour guide that the founder of this shop learned how to make gelato somewhere in Italy (Napoli if I remember). He refuses to open other shops in Lisbon to make sure the quality of the gelato is not affected. You are rewarded with this sweet treat after exploring the streets of the Alfama district. We tried several different flavors and our favorite was the lemon with rosemary (forgot to take a picture ). Can't wait to return one day! read more

This place puts the G* in gelato. Impeccably clean producing the highest quality gelato on an industrial scale. They have a board full of flavours in three languages . I didn't have my glasses on so I asked for three basics vanilla, dark chocolate and coffee . They had them all. All really well made creamy rich texture and intense flavour. Of the three the coffee was the weakest but if that the least great of the three you are an extremely highly level. My wife had coconut and dark chocolate. She had a monstrous smile. Prices are very reasonable about 4 dollars in local money ( half what it would be in the USA) Lastly my grandfather , father, uncles and brothers spent decades in the restaurant business. What my dad enjoyed as much as his food was a well run place. The manager/owner is right there on the front line running the till. She explains everything and really cares. Staff know exactly what to do . She doesn't have to say much except what the customer wants. Everyone is smiling. I have had my share of gelato over the years . Beats the USA , U.K. and and most places in Europe hands down really great place As we were leaving she gave us a taste of ricotta walnut and pumpkin. Wow read more
