Definitely a thicker gelato consistency -- and not mad about it! They had a good array of fruit and chocolate-y flavors! And they're in the metal tins, which is a plus! The employees were patient and polite! I got a bigger medium serving! The dark chocolate was very delicious and had a good richness to it and I tried Oreo to mix it up although I probably should've stuck to Stracciatella! Cute little storefront with gelato in the tins (so you know it's good). Ordered dark chocolate and hazelnut & the consistency is pretty thick (I prefer that) and the flavors were rich! The dark chocolate was also sorbet so it was vegan and it tasted super fudge-y!! The hazelnut tasted like Nutella mixed with the chocolate and they made the perfect pair of flavors. 4.5 stars. After being a little let down by the ice cream at Santini, we were happy to find this place the following night in the center of the city. Since we were full, we split a small cup of the pistachio and hazelnut gelatos, which are our benchmark flavors at any gelateria. The pistachio was good, but not as strongly pistachio in flavor as we had hoped (we give it 4 stars), but the hazelnut was absolutely wonderful with a rich, deep nuttiness that we couldn't get enough of. One thing I did appreciate is that both flavors had a nice hit of salt, which really elevated the flavors and made it hard to stop eating. The portion was really fair for the price, and we liked that they had some seating outside so we could people-watch while we enjoyed our gelato. We came here multiple times during our stay in Lisbon. It was right up the street from our hotel so there is that too! I love that they had a vegan option. The prices were great too. In a small you are able to get two flavors or opt for one. The first time I got the Oreo and peanut butter flavors. My husband got the 80% chocolate vegan and pistachio vegan flavors. We passed by this store a few times since it was near our hotel, and finally tried it on our last night. So glad we decided to stop in because it was a lovely treat! They have so many flavors to choose from, and I liked how they separated dairy vs. non-dairy options. We chose a small with half passion fruit and half pistachio. The passion fruit was a little tart (just like the fruit) and real passion fruit seeds! They don't have gorgeous display of their gelatos - everything is hidden inside containers. They don't create instagramy rose petals with their gelato. But don't overlook this relatively humble-looking little place, for hidden inside is probably one of the best tasting gelato. Their dark chocolate is made with Valrhona brand, and I actually bite into a seed in my passionfruit. Rich, creamy, intensely flavored, all natural as good as can be. I've had gelato every day since arriving in Lisbon. I've had gelato in Italy, when I traveled there. This is the BEST dark chocolate gelato I've ever had in my life. I also had the Dulce de Leche. That was amazing as well. But, since chocolate is my favorite, naturally I'm more excited about it. It's made with Valhrona chocolate, I don't remember the percentage. It's perfect. The young man behind the counter was very knowledgeable about the ingredients, techniques used. We must've gotten there at just the right time, 10:30 on a Thursday night, because as we were leaving, there were several small groups on the way in. It can get crowded. But it most certainly is worth the wait. Also note that the gelato is kept in covered stainless containers, not in open plastic tubs. This keeps the gelato at proper temperature which is very important to the texture, scoopability. read more

We went in and then tried the pistachio, the dark chocolate, and the coconut. we ended up getting pistachio and the chocolate it was amazing! The server was so nice and she made us feel great!
