My body betrays me when it comes to lactose but this is a place that I would gladly go to again and again for an experience the lactose overload later. But I'm not sure if it's the quality of their ingredients or what but I actually didn't have any lactose reaction, which only makes me think even higher of this place. The woman working there when I went was very kind and helpful. She didn't seem to have any issue with giving out samples and seem to be ready to issue more but my decision was made early on. We arrived around 10am on a weekday and it was quite empty. There was relatively no wait time for our drinks. My drink was unsweetened so I added packets of sugar into it and the pastry was delightful- crunchy, buttery, sweet, chocolaty on the inside all at the same time. This place has some picnic looking benches outside of it if you are interested in staying there. I highly recommend! I'm ready to go back and try some of their other pastries.
