Our property backs onto Holyoke State Park, which left us with a dense 10-foot deep wall of seemingly impenetrable brambles. We had started clearing it by hand, but hadn't yet hauled away the debris. John showed up with his "Bramble Eater" and in short order turned the whole mess--roots and all--into mulch and put it back on the cleared area as fill. He even leveled the berm it had created and chewed through a half-dozen old cedar posts and downed tree sections like it was nothing. I can't overstate how impressed I was--not just by the power of his equipment, but by his work ethic on a rainy, muddy day. The "after" photo says it all. The "before" was a tangle of brush and debris that he completely transformed.
