A bit of background...My daughter needs orthodontic work and was not paid for this review just a consumer in search of quality businesses! Lol I reached out to a bunch of dental offices and eliminated them for various reasons (ie: crappy availability, unprofessional front desk, no return phone call, etc.) Gellerman was one of the last places we contacted and the person whom I spoke with (Karen) was super professional and friendly, office has great hours, always respond to my calls/texts and last but not least was super accommodating! So here we are for the consultation. The office has parking in front of the building, the space is clean and kid/teen friendly and the front desk staff was just as friendly and professional as they were on the phone! The office is cozy with my daughter saying "I feel like I should take my shoes off" she didn't but you get the idea! lol Anyway the consultation is free and started on time! All the usual x-ray/images were taken and everything was explained including payment options to us in great detail! We will likely proceed with them for orthodontic work ! Highly recommend! How can this be? How is it possible that I am the first yelp review for this extremely popular pediatric orthodontics office. Literally 9 out of 10 kids we know who have braces are clients of Dr. Gellerman. Update: apparently this is the business name listing of Dr. Gellerman, there is also a Dr. Inna Gellerman DDS listing, not surprised, they are all 5 stars reviews. Service and bedside manner is tops. Her business and marketing acumen is also being utilized to its fullest. To learn marketing 101, you can go to college or you can hang out in Dr. Gellerman's office for an hour or so, and you'll know pretty much all you need to know for a successful practice. They also do a pretty good job on customer referrals as well as customer retention. They have their own point rewards for gift cards for referrals, and the client is also rewarded when they brush their teeth, wear the Gellerman t-shirt every visit etc. Last year she rented out Elwood Cinemas and invited her entire client list to see the first day release of Star Wars The Force Awakens. Popcorn and soda were also provided free of charge! Today my daughter had a spring in her braces pop out in school. Lisa at the front desk, quickly said, let's get her in here!. We arrived 15 minutes later and she went right in for attention from Veronica, the RDH. Dr. Gellerman was by the door and offered us some cookies on the way out. Nice lady, smart lady, great Doctor, great staff, with a great marketing juggernaut of a practice. I would recommend her services to everyone, make sure I get the points credit though. read more

If you live in the vicinity of this company and need braces or Invisalign you need to go here. I knew my teeth were crooked as other Anglo- European women of my family lineage, and that my smile was becoming increasingly less nice as I got into my thirties. I was recommended by a friend who like me, was an adult woman who needed the confidence to conduct her life without having to hide her smile behind her lips or a carefully placed hand during a laugh. Now, we both have perfect teeth like from the movies !! I swear. Not only is this office compassionate about people's individual financial situations... they will be with you for the rest of your orthodontal life without treating their adult patients differently then their adolescent ones. They also have the best chapstick (and anything else you need) with like 20 flavors in a never ending supply... and fancy coffee makers in the beautiful waiting room that you will look at longingly until you, like me, have a smile that has earned the right to indulge in a free mochacinno! I'm not normally one for posting on Yelp, but in this case I am eager to let you all know about this wonderful office. My 13-year-old son was found to have a crazy tooth anomaly - the kind of thing you hear about but never expect to happen to you. He started with an oral surgeon, who did his part to free up a tooth that had "gone rogue", and then recommended us to Dr. Gellerman for the long-term follow-up. My son needed braces anyway, but this brought his case to a whole new level of complexity. I cannot stress how wonderful Dr. Gellerman turned out to be, and how amazing her entire office is to work with. They turned what could have been a traumatic experience for my son into a peaceful, easy process. They gave him comfort and cared for him as if he was their own. As a typical fidgety and active boy, he was constantly popping springs and such, and they were there for him on short notice whenever that happened. They even arrange for an ice cream truck to be there for the patients every Monday in the summer, which of course became my son's preferred appointment day. His braces came off not very long ago, and his rogue tooth now stands proudly in rank with all its fellow soldiers. His experience gave me the courage to ask them for help with a painful misalignment that I'd suffered since my childhood (and, frankly, his beautiful smile made me jealous). Dr. Gellerman prescribed Invisalign to correct it, and while I'm only halfway through the treatment I am already without severe mouth pain for the first time in my memory. And here's the most amazing thing: I learned that Dr. Gellerman has a deep commitment to giving back to the community through charitable work. I was amazed at what I'd heard of her giving, and how she goes into schools to teach children and to look for children at risk. When I told her of one particular child I knew of who desperately needed help, she leapt into action without hesitation. Just amazing. Dr Gellerman has really helped me fix my teeth. I needed some pretty extensive help and it is coming out better than I expected. The staff is always so helpful and they go above and beyond. I have actually moved out of state during my treatment and they have even mailed my trays to me when they come in. If I could give more than five stars I would. read more

I have had braces for 2 years and the gaps still aren't gone. I assume this isn't their fault though. But also, the people who work here don't care about changing wires efficiently- they just want to do it fast. A lady who was changing my wire accidentally let the really sharp tool slip and it made a hole in my gum and I was in a lot of pain for a week. The pain of the hole was worse than the pain of my wires being changed. Then put all that pain together- and you have a mouth that feels like absolute heck. Because she didnt want to do it slowly and carefully, I had to have more pain than I should have. Also, the cost of braces are crazy expensive. But besides that, the people who work here are very nice. read more
