They are aware of my previous treatments. Feels so homey. Today I went in for an MRI. They have a super new machine that is not nearly as intimidating. Much bigger and so much quieter. Since I am slightly claustrophobic they offered to put me in feet first. It was perfect. THANK YOU VALOR STAFF

They put me on heart monitor for only 4 days and told me I can just go on weight loss shot.. urgent care was also very disrespectful they actually asked me like five times if I was pregnant I kept saying no. They also wouldn't take my insurance even though my insurance called them two times and they messed up my billing by putting all my appointments as emergency room visits.. I chose a new primary dr with st alphonsus and with in just two weeks They diagnosed me with pcos and pots. NOTE TO SELF it isnt always about weight and if I hadn't gone to new dr idk where I'd be right now especially with my heart issues... if you have pcos or pots I wouldn't go to them they said them selfs to me they don't know how to treat it. On a side note my husband step dad went there for while trying to figure out why his health was declining so fast. They ran test couldn't figure it out and lied said he died to alzheimer's... which isn't what happened his family will never know why or what happened all because the dr wouldn't listen but to lie on paper about that..

I went in to get my eyebrow checked out since it's pierced and had a bump. The student came in with…read moreno doctor, I told her listen it doesn't hurt but it could be an irritation bump so don't press too hard because you will make it worse. She pushed it as hard as she could nonstop until it started hurting, after I told her to stop, doctor came in for 5 minutes to tell me no he wasn't going to culture it due to it becoming red after the student did what I told her not to do, they did nothing to help and charged me 100 bucks to make my eye way worse then when I started.

"Two words. Don't fall."…read more That was the doctor's response during a medical gathering to an audience member who asked for his advice on the most important thing to do for a healthy life into senior years. But fall I did last week and it was a doozy on a hard tile floor. Jaw, neck, knee, foot all needed attention but I dawdled 24 hours hoping things would look better the next day. Alas, they were worse and to avoid ER waits...waits...waits...waits...you know what I'm talking about, I went into urgent care. As medical appointments go for the purpose at hand this could not have been a better one. I was pretty certain nothing was broken but I wasn't sure why my strategy of ice, elevation, nsaids had not created a better outcome but a worse one 24 hours post event and now not being able to stand on the damaged leg and with ample bruising on face and neck I guess I was looking for diagnosis and direction. I have had since college a CNS disease in which falls can be part of the evolution and having had two prior in different decades that did result in fractures, I knew this was different for the damage done. Check in was quick and easy, the nurse who saw me first was professional and kind, the PA who saw me second was thorough, professional and kind. The imaging he ordered of XRays for knee and foot and CT for facial bones could be done on site and the techs who did it were professional. Radiology results were returned in short order and more discussion with PA about diagnosis and path forward . All good. I hope you will never have a need for urgent care but if you do, based on my experience this is a good choice.

Upon asking about this, I was told that 3 people were checking people in, for 3 things....labwork, Urgent Care, and appointments with providers. All were "time-in-posted." I can certainly understand seeing the Urgent Care patients right away, but those of us who come in early to "get in and get out" might be channeled into different staff so that we don't sit for almost half an hour after being the second person in the door.... Aside from that, really appreciate the friendliness of the staff and providers!

Somewhat recently they posted a sign in the front that if you're coming in for your wellness check and you address anything other than what the wellness check covers, you will be charged for an additional appointment. I came in for my wellness check and because I'm very healthy, Dr. Smith and I spent most of the appointment chatting, which is fine- bloodwork is great, I'm feeling fine, no issues. BUT, because I asked if he could write me a prescription for Imitrex because I get migraines a couple times a year and like to have medication on hand, I get charged for an additional appointment. The reason was that this was a new prescription. We never discussed how to treat migraines, what causes them, how to prevent them... no, this was just a straight up "Can you write me a prescription?". Because I have not met my deductible, my now "free" wellness check has turned into a $325 dollar visit. I got charged for an extra 30 minute appointment when most of my time with the doctor was shooting the breeze. I also ended up being charged for lab work that last year was not charged because it was included in the "free" wellness check. They must've decided to tag the bloodwork into the "extra" appointment I was charged for, not the wellness check. I called the office about this and they ran it by the person who deciphers chart notes and decides what gets charged. I explained everything like I just did above. The result was that, No, I have to pay the $325. No scruples and pure greed. I am so angry.
