This place is great. I've heard a lot of bad things about Pawn Shops and based on the reviews I thought the shop would be a bad one but I was happily proven wrong. The people who work here do whatever they can to help you. If they know you need more money than what they can offer they will pull some strings and give you more, even if that means giving you a loan instead of buying the item (which means they don't get the profit gain they would have gotten it from buying it) The only downside is the electronic section of the store could be better. If you want to buy an xbox you can't just look to see how much memory it has you'd have to ask someone to go on the computer and find the info on the product. Well I wasn't able to pawn my art supplies but I was able to pawn a few pieces of jewelry (a pair of ear rings and a necklace), which is fine. I understand they need to be able to resell it in case I don't pay off the loan and there's not a big demand for used art supplies. That being said the people that work at Gems N' Loans Temecula are absolute gems of their own. I very much enjoyed my time there and Lucy was a unique individual which I had the pleasure of meeting. If i could i would give them No stars...This place is a joke they pay there items so much more lesser than what you will end up paying for the item you like in that store. For example a lap top you will probably buy it for more than 300 but when they bought it from the original owner they only paid 40 bucks for it.. PLACE IS A RIP OFF STAY AWAY!!! This was a bad experience. I went into the store and I think it was the owner, she was pushing me to buy these crappy offers like this guitar that was in terrible condition and there were a couple strings missing and it was slightly beat up and and when I declined, she started to sort of raise her voice and interrupt me when I was talking. I would not recommend this place at all with the ripoff trade offers, not a great atmosphere at all. read more

The employees are all very kind and helpful, and they make great fair deals when buying and loaning. they also give the longest amount of time on loans for you to be able to get your stuff back and you can always extend the time on a loan by paying interest. if you need to sell or loan come to gems n loans, and i promise you will be taken care of. this is the only place i come to do business. read more

I went in with medium rare US gold coin worth $650 per recent sale at Ebay. Justin offered a little low ($550) then we negotiated extra ~$30 of merchandise. So I retreived ~$580 of value for $650 coin, which is fair. The only problem I had was IT TOOK TOO LONG and SHOP IS COLD ... and but people are reasonable.
