Office was clean and neat, staff was kind and professional. After signing in within couple of minute I had meeting with Dr. Ro, who was kind, good listener and able to explain my condition, and explain physical exam process. After the meeting, I was escorted by staff and did physical. It was 4 exams, and every exam was explained well by staff, whole thing took about 1hr. This was my first time and this was actually fun for me. After the physical, they took my blood (I HATE needle, but this was quickly done), and urine. I took little rest in waiting area, and had a meeting with Dr. Ro regarding the result of physical. He spoke in gentle manner and soft, I felt good. I highly recommend Dr. Ro, and I will be back.

HOWEVER THAT SAID - I love Dr. Heather McGowan. She is the only reason why I would wait (much as it kills me). Because she doesn't rush you, and she listens. We share the same philosophy which is about allowing your body to heal and not be too alarmist about life. She is open to new ideas and very supportive. She doesn't frown or make judgments and make you feel bad about your choices. In fact, she works with you as much as you can. She is very respectful and I really love taht about her. I have two kids and she is my fourth pediatrician and I'm glad I found her. Everyone else before were either dismissive, holier than thou or made you feel bad if you asked too many questions. UPDATE Since I wrote this review I have brought my daughters in to see Dr. Cinnante as well. She is wonderful and extremely caring, taking the time to listen to you and work with you. She even follows up with you on issues pro-actively which is unheard of today. She makes me and my children feel like human beings, rather than a record in their customer database. I love the fact that she is a D.O.

Jesus is not my savior. I respect religion and the right to personal beliefs. I do not want religion mixed in with my daughter's strep test. When I was still thinking about this the next day, I called the office to let them know I found this offensive. The staff doctor I spoke to said that staff is "allowed to believe in God" and that I was making an issue where there isn't one. I disagree with that assessment but do agree that I am free to take my children to a pediatric practice where religion is left out of the equation.

Today, 1/19 I received a call on my landline telling me the originals were back and they've been trying to reach me for at least 3 weeks and all calls directed to my cell went directly to voice mail and they then claim they texted me with no response. There were no missed calls as there would have been a record and no text. As a matter of fact, this is not the first time I've been told calls have been made and gone directly to voice mail from this company. I'm pleased with the hearing aids but not with what I perceive as dishonesty to cover their office inadequacies. I'm sure that my warranty will now be invalid due to this review. I hope not.

The doctor seemed fine up until I informed her that my mother has met her insurance's annual out of pocket max and the insurance company has previously confirmed there will be no copay for the hearing aid. The doctor then assumed a condescending tone and repeatedly claimed that the insurance company has no role in this and their limits do not apply. As was later confirmed by both the insurance company and the service partner (TruHearing) who referred my mother to this shop, there is in fact no copay and that confirmation was proactively provided to this doctor through TruHearing's "Echo Portal" which this doctor could have easily verified. The conversation went to hell - after I informed her that we would file a complaint against her and switch provider, the doctor refused to return my mother's in-take forms, which contain my mother's full SSN and other confidential personal information. She first falsely claimed the forms have been loaded into paper shredder, then claimed that we had no right to demand return of "their" forms - despite the fact that they emailed the blank forms to me yesterday and I filled in my mother's information. I felt verbally attacked at this establishment and the doctor and her assistant did NOT appear like healthcare professionals to me. They seem more like used car sales people throwing a fit for lack of up front payment. I can understand we all make mistakes; I can even excuse them from not checking their portal for insurance benefit confirmation; but the way the doctor acted despite her mistakes was not excusable. I caution anyone who is referred to this establishment. There are many options - look for the true healthcare professionals and avoid getting into a bad situation as my mother and I were subjected to.
