Dr Kwok runs a good medical facility here in Bronxville, along with an excellent team of great doctors: Dr Galloway, Dr Polizzi, and a wonderful administrative staff who answer the phone with good guidance and professionalism. If you are a part of the NYU Langone Medical Center group and live in Westchester do go here. You will find a substantial comprehensive medical practice. The team here takes great care of my Mom. Dr. Kwok is the most patient, kind, thorough doctor I have ever had. She is new to NYU Langone but I have been her patient for 4 yrs. When she moved her practice from the city, I decided to make the commute to Bronxville to continue care. Dr Phyllis Kwok has been like a beautiful gift in my life. The primary physician I used for over 25 years left his practice suddenly and my search began. I tried a few doctors locally and that did not work out well to say the least. So I travelled a bit of a distance to see a primary located where my endocrinologist is as there are a number of PCPs there. I saw a very nice Dr there for a short time and he too left his practice..I started thinking I was cursed. Then I was assigned a Dr at the group and that Dr had an emergency the day I had an appointment,so I called my endocrinologist who told me "Oh, see if Dr Kwok has an opening" and the rest is history. After searching for a few years,I knew immediately that this was the right match for me. Dr Kwok listens,has true compassion for her patients,solutions,and is so good natured -you feel better just being around her. Then I found out she would no longer be at the location I was going to see her at, and I thought my heart would break. I almost felt like giving up. I hung in and waited for awhile to see if Dr Kwok would happen to relocate and my patience paid off!! I had been checking to see if her address changed and one day saw she had a new location..In an area I was extremely familiar with and could still see her!!! OH,Happy Day!!! What a relief to have my wonderful doctor back..I have a number of health issues and it gets complicated treating me sometimes. Dr Kwok can walk in and look at me and know if something is going on. She has true concern for her patients but never frightens them. I've visited doctors and walked out feeling worse then when I went in. Never with Dr Kwok.No matter how unwell I might be feeling, Dr Kwok is kind,makes me feel hopeful,has great suggestions and ideas to make me comfortable and get me back on track. She ALWAYS replies to questions on the patient portal very quickly and really goes the extra mile for you. My adult daughter uses Dr Kwok as well. She was in the same boat as I after out PCP suddenly left. She,like I really need the Dr -Patient connection and Loves Dr Kwok as well. Dr. Kwok is one of the nicest doctors you'll ever meet. She's very professional and makes sure she answers all your questions. She never rushed me during my consultations both in person and on the phone. The only thing is, her secretary "Elena" (not sure of the spelling!) is the most rude and sarcastic secretary I've ever spoken with. It's sad because she's the total opposite of her boss! Murray Hill Medical Associates is staffed with the most untrustworthy doctors and office staff I have ever witnessed. I was deathly ill and in need of medical assistance. This office was the closet to my home. I had a 106 degree fever, which I advised the doctor the second I arrived at the office. I sat in the waiting room for over an hour. When I was finally seen, the doctor dragged me in their office for a "new patient consultation". I could barely sit up. Then after a 5 minute examination I was told there was no way to tell what was wrong with me and to go to the ER. I was admitted to the hospital for four days. Every day, a member of Murray Hill Medical Assoc., including Kwok, paid me a visit without my request or consent. They performed no medically viable treatment and provided no usable input regarding my condition. They literally came in to chit chat and as I found out later bill me for it. Each visit lasted 5 minutes. I received bills from these doctors for the "follow ups" they performed totaling several thousand dollars. I contacted the doctors directly confronting them of their malpractice and received nasty responses, especially from Kwok. When my bills were initially sent to collections, I faxed the details of the situation to the state attorney general and the BBB. If all this was not enough, my debit card information was stolen when submitting payment the day of the office visit at Murray Hill Medical and hundreds of dollars were stolen from my checking account. Avoid this doctor and this place at all costs. read more

Dr. Phyllis Kwok, MD and her medical practice are responsible for false claims and falsely billing patients for no services rendered. I was sent to the ER after visiting Murray Hill Medical Group as they were unequipped to aid in my serious illness. I received a visit from two separate doctors from MHMG during my stay at the hospital. Neither doctor was requested, nor did they perform any medically viable treatment. Kwok was one of those doctors. I received bills from both doctors. Dr. Kwok refused to acknowledge her fraudulence and has sent her false claim to an attorney. NYU doctors acknowledge Kwok and the other MHMG doctor were not required at the hospital nor did they aid in my treatment in any way. My debit card was also hacked and funds drained after my single visit at Murray Hill Medical Group. I have advised the collections attorney I will contact the BBB, State Attorney General, and every news station in the metro area. Avoid this practice, especially Phyllis Kwok, MD, at all costs. read more
