A hidden gem of Livingston! When my family use to come here it was when we were camping at the Merced River RV Park. I'm almost 40 years old but the memories I share are priceless as a ten year old. Amazing hand crafted pizza, and the chicken filled taco thing is amazing. Sorry I'm not local. This review is from my experience in 2024. The ambiance is that of a closed storefront, it's very dark seems abandoned it's not, just the window tint and broken/messed up parking lot with hardly any cars alluded to it, at least when I came. Livas locals know! At this point, I don't really know if Geneo's is really all that good or it is the nostalgia of it all. This has always been the "spot" in Livingston. Everyone comes here for lunch, after local sporting events, to watch games, family dinner, you name it. That being said, it can get pretty packed during peak hours/big games. Located in a small strip mall at the end of Main Street. Parking usually isn't an issue. There is plenty of seating: perfect set up for large groups. They have a small arcade area towards the end of the restaurant and a private space for events. There's an old school pizza parlor feel with all the 90s high school team photos on the walls. Let's just be so grateful they got rid of that disgusting carpet. Lol Service always makes you feel welcomed. You order and pay at the counter, find a seat, self serve soft drinks, then they bring out your plates, condiments, and food order. They are frequently coming around to check on you or bust tables. I recommend calling in your order ahead of time, even if you're dining in, it can take awhile. Geneo's food is actually pretty unique. Yeah, there's pizza, wings, fries...but I can confidently say, these textures and flavors will not be found elsewhere. Some compare the pizza crust to a cardboard like texture, but I would describe it as crispy and flakey, almost burnt (in the best way possible). There is no type of flop to these slices. The wings are not meaty at all and I freaking love it! Growing up, everyone would say these were the rejected Foster Farms wings but hear me out! Because they're not super meaty, you get all the flavor, and they are SUPER crispy. They also don't skimp on the sauce either. I will argue that they have the best elevated Franks Hot Buffalo Sauce. The chicken dinners are a must. Crispy thighs, laying on a bed of french fries with potato rolls. Order that for your next family gathering, trust me. Heard good things about this place from a co worker and went for the first time last night. It was busy and felt a bit overwhelming at first with all the noise and so many people (figured bc it's like a family/sports hang out so fun!) but we found a booth right away. Our food came around 25 minutes later and the food was so good!! Loved everything about it! It kinda reminded me of that pizza scene from the goofy movie, the type of pizza I've always wanted lol all the food went so well together from the crust and melty cheese with plenty of toppings to the buffalo wings being saucy and tangy to the well done crispy fries ugh it was so good! Personally being from Merced, I'd rate this place pretty up there. Better than round table, Pizza Hut, little Caesar's, Dominos and all of that. Pizza was fair at best. Worst part was the customer service. They said we couldn't move the tables to see the tv because one tv was broken. Then after 2 hours they said you can't sit on the edge of the table because it's a fire hazard although the other tables intrude further than the person sitting there. I would never recommend anyone to come here unless you want to get into an argument with people about things that don't matter. Geno's way or get moving. read more

A friend suggested this pizza parlor. It's located in a small strip mall so there's limited parking. This is a family owned restaurant and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome herre. Inside is a bit worn so don't expect anything fancy if you're coming here. There's a couple big screen TVs and some arcade games inside. We grabbed a couple pitchers of beers, appetizer, and a couple pizzas. Everything tasted fine but nothing to rave about. My buddy grabbed the bill so I can't comment on the prices. Genos is okay, it used to be very good in the past. The pizza is paper thin?? I'm not sure why but it's extremely thin. The chicken is good not great. The vibe is "meh" there's a couple employees that are super sweet and then there's the others that need to learn to smile & greet customers. The new owner is one of my least favorite people. She's rude and too nosy. She can't ever take a hint.. if customers have their mouths full they definitely don't want to talk to you . Get the hint!! read more

Last week I came down to visit family in livingston and they invited me to Geneos. They were all bragging about geneos wings being the best in the area. So we went to dine in and try out there wings. First of all the cashier lady (older lady with short hair and glasses) i believe her name was Nora.. ? She was very rude. Not even a "welcome to geneos" it's almost like if we were asking for free food when we were ordering. The whole time she just had a stanky attitude. Second, i'm not going to lie the wings are good but for the price !!!! No, thank you . I rather go to ten pin or buffalo wild wings. Way better service and prices. Now my overall question is... Why even have an unhappy employee with no customer service skills working for your business when all she is doing is just giving first time customers a bad experience like i did. read more

On the lookout for awesome wings and pizza... It's outstanding.. We ordered a small pepperoni, mushroom and bell pepper pizza and a small order of wings. Both pizza and wings were fantastic. The crust was perfect, hot, crispy and loaded with plenty of cheese and topping's. As delicious as the pizza was the wings stole the show. Our wings were crispy and crunchy with the right amount of buffalo sauce. As of now these wings are the best I've had. It seemed like everyone had them. The ambiance gets a C rating. So I remember coming here years ago during my lunch when I worked in the area. We were passing through and I was craving wings and pizza. I convinced the family to stop here for lunch. I think that was the biggest mistake because after this meal, they will be hooked. We ordered wings and pizza. Let's start with the wings. Amazing. I love the wings. They fry the wings which I love and then they dip them in buffalo sauce. I am serious when I say these wings were delicious. I could eat these wings everyday. Now let's talk about the pizza. The pizza was DELICIOUS!!!!! I love how the bottom of the crust was stiff while the top of the crust was soft and yummy. Let's say we have officially found our new pizza and wings spot. The atmosphere is casual, nothing fancy, which is fine with us, as our main priority is to find great local food and support our community and near-by communities, as well. This is our favorite pizza of all time! Crust is airy and crisp on the bottom and sauce is flavorful and seasoned well. We usually get a Meat lovers and a pepperoni. Both are loaded with toppings and cooked perfectly. The fried chicken here is amazing! Tastes just like home cooked (but maybe even better!)... it is served with rolls and choice of side. We usually get potato salad. Fries and wings are another great option. Haven't tried the sandwiches or burgers but judging by other food I'm sure they would be good.
