During a recent windstorm a few weeks ago...I heard a crash and crackle. A neighbors pine tree branch flew across my yard and hit my sliding glass patio door! After quite a few calls to various glass door companies...I was given the number to General Glass in Canoga Park! I called and spoke to Bob...who came out for a free estimate...and within less than a week I had a new dual pain low e glass replacement! His crew came on time and within a blink of an eye...my slider is back to gorgeous! I won't ever call anyone else except General Glass! During the recent windstorms, something cracked one single pane old aluminum house window. It only needed the glass replaced, but I could not find anyone willing to handle such a small job. I called General Glass and Debbie very quickly gave me an estimate. It was, honestly, more than I thought this repair should cost, until I got estimates from Angie's List that were MUCH more expensive. Bob sent his men over to remove the window, take it to their shop to fix and return to my house in less than an hour. I called General Glass after they were recommended to me. They said they would call me right back with a quote, but never called back. I called and left a message that same evening... thinking maybe the wrote my number down incorrectly or something, but still received no call back the next day. So, I called again. The girl who answered said she'd gotten my message and assured me again that she would call me back with a quote... but again she never did. After that I determined that my business was not important to them. They should have called to let me know either that they couldn't get the glass or the quote instead of wasting my time. If using this company, make sure that everything is complete before paying final payment. Install was delayed and then once in, one piece of glass was damaged and had to be replaced.
