Response to Prosper from my earlier review. It's August 21st...& no the upgrades have not been…read morecompleted...still living in unfinished ongoing caos. Different people walking in & out opening up & coming in without notice or permission. I can't count how many different people & times they've been in & out. Dirt every time throughout the floors, counters, muddy boot prints on my bathtub & today i noticed they used my bathroom & for whatever reason they left one of my kitchen dish towels all wet & dirty laying around. Very disrespectful & disgusting. Unlawful to enter without notice. They do whatever they want whenever they want. No regard to tenants, leases, laws, or our lives. If you complain they simply don't respond. Like prior negative reviews all I would take to be true & not their fake made up good reviews. What the company will do to make a dollar. When I can I'll be out & no doubt worry what they'll do or take then. Their upgrades are cheap & tacky. Floor moves underneath your feet. Scrapes on new appliances & mine from them moving my belongings. Shitty paint job. The old was far better & painless then these upgrades. I would've paid the same rent increase of $250 more a month if they wouldn't have bothered me at all knowing what I know now. Again, my rent increased $250 a month More on top of what I was already paying. Like imagine a mortgage increasing that much a month?? Then the disaster that came with it afterwards & still not over & ongoing. Living nightmare. Careful dealing with Prosper.

i've been with Prosper now for a few years. i really like their properties, but the management is…read moreabsolutely abhorrent. i've fought through many battles with them - from being cheated out of the apartment unit we expressed we wanted and not being told til last minute that we got another one, to having harmful mold in our bathroom *literally just covered up with paint*, to them ignoring that our breaker kept tripping so much that a fire started in our dryer and almost made us lose the entire house. it left dozens of ash wisps for us to clean up afterward. wanna know what they did when they came to "clean" the basement? painted it white. the landlord special. my latest qualm with them was when the furnace broke and i was stuck with cold air blowing half the time in subzero temperatures. after asking for compensation from them for my utility bill, they tried to claim multiple times that the high gas bill cost was from seasonally colder temperatures around this time and that it's just "normal", while their maintenance team (who are exceptionally difficult to reach and incipient with communication), came in and literally fixed it. because it was broken. just for another manager to tell us that there was nothing wrong with it before. as with most college-rental landlords, these people are exceedingly greedy and act like they don't know what's going on, on purpose, simply to hoard wealth. your hard-earned money, gone down the drain. the only person i will thank is a field agent, Kelly. not sure if she's still with the company today, but she has always made sure we have everything we needed as much as she can help it. if you are looking for a good rental company in the eau claire area, i would suggest Compass. i've heard nothing but good things about them so far.

Ever since Foxboro Management Company was…read morehired from the Landlord I rented from 3 months previously I am still trying to get my fair treatment and financial assistance that they owe me from the damage and unlawful entry to my property as the lease was in my name legally I had to hire a attorney so that don't treat other people the way they treated me and was so disrespectful the total time they had the account. I'm physically disabled and elderly and mentally emotionally disabled but I guess they thought I would be a good person to take advantage of. Very frustrated for several months and still am fighting this. Lisa Anderson Speros Lane Eau Claire Wisconsin

This is by far the worst rental company I have ever had the misfortune of leasing from. From day…read moreone it has been nothing but lies and lack of communication on everything. Maintenance requests take forever if they get done at all. Multiple billing issues with fees or utility bills. They have increased the rent on the unit every year for the last 5 years and doubled the utility bill after being required by the government to equip the unit with a water filter system. How is it fair to make the tenant pay for that? They go through their staff like toilet paper too. I have gotten a different "agent" every time I call and am told the person I ask for is no longer with them. 1/5 stars is one star too many. Stay away from these crooks. Update: I have called 6 times now and stopped by the office one time. Was told I will have to deal with this representative that has told me multiple times she is new and is just waiting to get "clarification" So ball is in your court.

They were quick to respond to my request for a showing of an apartment, and they arrived on time and treated me with respect. I rented from them for 4 years, and whenever there was an issue, or I needed something fixed, they came immediately the next day and fixed it. Receptionists on phone calls are were always kind & awesome and answered all of my questions. When I moved out, I made sure to clean the apartment very well and I ended up getting about 80% back of my security deposit. They are very understanding about (reasonable) damages or things I could not control! I had stayed in one of the 8-plex's on Blakeley in Eau Claire, and I gotta say, the quality of the apartments are wonderful. Updated soft carpet was my favorite! I felt safe there. Happy that lawn care and snow removal was included. They are on time for both and very courteous. Thank you for being so wonderful, Austin PM!

They have dragged their feet on doing much of anything. In over a month: they adhered the carpet in one bedroom, were happy to remove all kitchen appliances but can't put in new ones until the roach infestation is cleared which is still happening, did nothing about the A/C, nor the black grime. When my spouse tried to implore them to act on problems with the house and cited laws being broken: they just gaslit her and acted like what she was saying wasn't true and there was nothing we could do
