Stopped here for a lunch break by chance - and we are so glad we did! Clean and inviting store that has everything a road-weary traveller (and their family) would want or need: + Clean restrooms. + Cafe. Good selection of hot food items. Large portions. Our 6 year old twins shared the grilled cheese with fries, my wife had the fish and chips and I had a burger and fries. Everything tasted great. Cafe also sells ice cream!!! + Local gifts (huckleberry products, Idaho spud chocolate, etc.) and other souvenirs. + General store. Good selection of drinks, snacks and basic travel needs. + Very friendly and welcoming staff. + Nice tables/seating to eat and relax inside. For vegetarian cyclist - The first sip of iced tea says it all - it was real brewed tea, not the awful instant tea so many road side places serve. Road side food, nothing fancy, but thoughtfully made. The cole slaw with big chunks of apple was memorable. I could have eaten a ton. Friendly folks, too. read more
