I had a truck break down in, I called Genes after calling many mobile mechanics. Gene said he was busy, but would be able to help in one hour. Three hours later I called wondering the status of the repair, Gene yelled at me that he was tired of talking to me about our truck. Gene then backed out of his commitment to repair our truck leaving us stranded. I understand being busy, however when Gene said he would help my truck I stopped calling other shops. I was in Baker City with a tour group, driving a diesel short school bus that broke down (definitely not a truck) around 8:30am on a Sunday. Gene came out, tried for 25+ minutes to find the issue, wouldn't let me pay him a dime. Ended up being a short inside the bus, had to get the Ford dealership to put it up on Monday. He was prompt, respectful, and very willing to try to fix even a vehicle he's not terribly familiar with. read more
