Genesis, where do i start! From the minute we walked in and had our consultation with Fabio and Damian there was no doubt in my mind we were going to book them (which we did on the spot) and that they were going to do more than a fantastic job (which they DID!!) They all have amazing personalities and are so fun and out going and they just get it! There super easy to talk to and will for sure make you laugh a few dozen times during your appointments haha! Mario and I, as well as all of our guests had the time of their lives! People are still talking about how fun and upbeat the wedding was and we owe it all to you guys! We had Dj Yianni, he was able to play all the Greek and Italian music we needed and was also able to speak Greek for the guests that needed translation etc. and Fabio was our MC and he is one HELL OF A GUY!!!! His energy is contagious and uplifting in so many ways! They do there job with their hearts and give it 100% always. You will not be sorry if you choose them as you're entertainment! I was so nervous while looking for a DJ at first, cause music is most important to me and then a coworker of mine recommended them and I am so glad he did, THANKS CHRIS!!! Our wedding was last November. Genesis Events made it more special. People still talk about our DJ/MC. What can I say but professional, courteous, caring, and the list goes on and on. Everyone we spoke to or dealt with at Genesis made the stress of wedding planning easier when it came to the entertainment. And what entertainment it was. Probably the best Entertainment at a wedding I've ever seen, and I'm not saying it because it was my wedding. A class act and they didn't try to push any of the extras on us. They presented lots of different things they had but once we said yes/no they moved on. Fabio was our MC and had an amazing amount of energy. I was at Floral Terrace for a Bridal Show. If not for one of the M.C.'s I would have hired this group. I found the saxophonist to be smooth and flowing with the music, the percussionist was sweet and his timing was awesome with the music. The DJ did a good job, but Fabio was definitely the life of the event. He was charismatic, full of energy and had a great mood. This is the vibe you would want to have at your wedding or party. I would recommend you see them for yourself. As for the one M.C., he was giving out cards and when I asked for one, he asked "are you the bride?", to which I replied "yes", then he wanted to know the date to which I gave, and then he walked away. Needless to say, I left without a card and decided against hiring them. People will show you who they are and this profusely sweating man showed me that this company did not need to do my three events. read more

I wanted to express my gratitude to our M.C. & D.J.at Genesis Events. A wedding can be immensely stressful; I've heard the horror stories, in fact on the day of my wedding it started with my makeup artist not showing up and doing my own hair (disappointed with my stylist). Having a morning like that, I was quite nervous about my reception; you want people to have a great time; music is incredibly important. Genesis Events is the company you want to use. Here's why... - Fabio has been professional and their rates are very reasonable. - As an MC - Fabio had everyone on the dance floor - including my husband's 80+ yr old grandma from Greece who needs a hip replacement, and yet we found her on the dance floor dancing to "I'm sexy and I know it". - Fabio is very funny; he had everyone at the wedding laughing. - Fabio himself was on the dance floor hyping everyone up. At one point it seemed there was no room left on the dance floor - that's the type of wedding you want; people to be talking about it because they enjoyed it so much. - A woman fell on the dance floor due to her shoes; Fabio fell right next to her and made her laugh rather than be embarrassed. - Fabio pronounced all Greek names perfectly - impressive! - Steve our DJ made the music flow to where everyone got excited when they heard the next song. - We used their photobooth - the gentlemen there, I was told were "extremely nice". Each picture strip was printed twice, one for the guests and the other for an album. We thought some cheap album with just our pictures; they ended up giving us a nice, wedding album and had the guests' pictures and a message signed by them to us - then they made my husband and I take pictures and ended up writing a message to us as a couple on behalf of everyone at the wedding with our pictures...really nice touch! If you want the BEST of the BEST in entertainment, book with Genesis Events! We had Fabio as our MC and Raz as our DJ and a percussionist and they were absolutely phenomenal! These guys didn't skip a beat and kept the party going all night long, the dance floor was never empty! They definitely got a feel for the crowd and worked their magic, we still have guests talking about the DJ we had! Through Genesis we also had the open air photo booth and the zap shots....these extras were both a hit! Why don't these guys have more positive reviews? They did a stellar job at our daytime wedding. We gave them very little guidance and Joe did an amazing job playing a nice blend of music with very little guidance. He even was watching us very closely during our first dance and faded it perfectly at the time my fiance dipped me. Neither of us knows how to dance and we told him we wanted it super short (like 30 to 60 seconds) so this was excellent! People asked us how long we had practiced that. Good balance of being there to make minor announcements for us and good pacing throughout the event of higher energy vs more relaxed music for eating. Would recommend. Genesis was absolutely amazing to work with throughout the whole entire process. They made us feel very comfortable and we never doubted them once. The day of our wedding they exceeded our expectations. Everything was perfect. ALL of our guests are still talking about how great the music selection was and how awesome our MC was. We worked with Damian and John, and Marty (for zap shots). Damian was so great at keeping people on the dance floor. One of the many complements we received was how great he was BECAUSE he wasn't pushy at getting people up on the dance floor. We saw guys that never dance.... DANCING!
