Genesis Wireless offers some of the best internet service in East Central Minnesota. While being a small provider, they make it for it with a dedicated team of support agents always willing to help, and provide a solution for customers. If you're looking to get away from shoddy DSL or dialup, give them a call, and they'll be able to see if you are eligible for service based on your home address, in my case with a single phone call. The prices are reasonable, with a tier approach to pricing, depending on what speeds you require. read more

I am a customer of genesis have had it for a few years. the system is often weak and now no signal at all was told it will take 4 day to send some one to look at it. that was the best they could do I am impressed that genesis is working on better plans to help restore service and should be up soon Richard read more

The actual internet service is great . . . when it works. Their service is not metered and the speed is good, however, but when their service goes down, which is several times a year, they do not have support in the evenings or on the weekend. Recently experienced an outage on Friday evening and could not get support until the following Monday. If an alternate provider was available, I would switch. To get a 4 or 5 star review, they need to improve their support. read more

Update to previous review. Now I'm having issues with connectivity. I called them and was told by an outsourced or out of State tech that I'd have to wait for a call from "tier 2". I was told that they would call the next day. Of course they didn't call so I called them again. I was told that it hadn't been 24 hours yet. In fact it had been but she told me they had until midnight to call! Anyway she said they would call the next day. They didn't. Finally I did receive a call today and was told I probably needed a new cable. I asked the tech if he'd check with the owner Jay to see if they'd take care of it for free since I've had so many issues. Jay told him to tell me I could pay $9.95/mo to get on the lease/maintenance program otherwise I could pay $75. and they would come out. I had to laugh because if you look at their website you'd think they actually care about their customers. Unbelievable. read more

These people (Joe) farmed me off to a company called Geosync Communications (Sam) and I was told he was supposed to bring me out a new modem. He actually showed up once but not with a modem.
