I bought an enewton bracelet for a friend that ended up not fitting. When she went to exchange it the person behind the counter told her that the bracelet she was trying to exchange wasn't the bracelet that was purchased-basically accusing my friend of being dishonest. I will say that I called a few weeks later (when I found out about the situation) and spoke with someone who was very nice and confirmed that the bracelet she was trying to exchange was the one that was purchased. She couldn't tell me why the other person said that. I usually like to go here to get gifts but won't be back due to this experience. read more

Never have I ever been made to feel so uncomfortable in a store. I had purchased a ENewton ring here back in April and wanted to buy another one. No one spoke to me entering or asked if I needed assistance, I finally asked an employee a question about another ring and she implied my bracelets were taken from there. I said No these were purchased in a boutique in Cleveland which happens keep records of purchases for repeat customers. She then followed me through the store and asked to keep the ring I was holding behind the counter. I put the ring back and left the store. Now that I have read past reviews I see this is a regular practice of their. I also spoke with a friend I sent there and she told me a very similar story and she would never shop there again. read more

Shop owner said I am not a good fit as her customer after I spent well over $600 there and told me I'm not welcome back and then turned around and said she never said that two seconds later. Even more alarming she said she knows who I am as she has looked me up on Facebook with her other associates... to know random shop workers I don't know say around looking me up and talking about me makes me so uncomfortable. made me cry and then said she won't let me return the items she is upset I bought so she clearly liked having the money, but wants me to know she doesn't like me as a person. This was my first ever interaction with her and she had all that to say.. and she said she's a Christian too the only reason I shopped there is because a store worker said she was excited to sell to me and they needed these items gone. needless to say furnish farmhouse boutique and many others sell the exact same items, but don't get in your business and hate on you. They just sell stuff like a normal store does. I'm appalled and extremely hurt. read more

I have been shopping at Genevieve Bond since she first opened in her older tiny location. Nearly 20 years in business and it only gets better! The selection is constantly changing and updating. She does a wonderful job of keeping up with trends and finding the next "must have" item. Genevieve Bond is my go to when I need a unique or special gift. I also love that when I'm in a pinch or my kids are tapped out in the car, I can give them a call, tell them what I'm needing and they will have it ready when I get there! Charming boutique we frequent and especially enjoy the after Christmas sale. It is marvelous. The store is named after the owners late mother which resonates why it is so friendly and inviting. Owner is incredibly welcoming and skillful in merchandising. Staff helpful and accommodating. Unique gifts abound. I went by the store today actually and felt strongly about it immediately. I was searching for some gifts to give to some of the ladies in my family. I enjoy buying more luxe gifts for people and take pride in gift giving, I hadn't been here in a few years but excited to run by and check it out for Christmas. The customer service was HORRIBLE. Rude, kept staring at me, not moving from merchandise so I could look. It was ridiculous, some brands in there I normally can only order from Nordstrom or Neiman Marcus; and I'll continue to after how rude they were today. In a small store, you must be friendly...they missed that memo. Also, the store was way too jam-packed. Way too much merchandise in a small space, it felt like if I barely moved I'd knock down shelves. Too crowded, absolutely horrible customer service, not amazing gift options either. Coming from a big city, I get better service there then in a small town owned store. read more
