I told my friends about this donation and I definitely want my YELP friends knowing about donating to orphan teenagers; however, the donation deadline is July 15, 2018! FYI: I attended Life Point's Church Service on 6/24/2018-I collected a tag for donating a backpack and I collected a tag for donating a pair of shoes for an orphan, male teenager. I ordered both items, the Pacsafe backpack and the Adidas running shoes from Amazon so, I hope the male teenager will like what I bought for him! Why I'm donating new items to a male teenager I don't know? Well~I paying forward random acts of kindness . . . A kind, furniture store owner helped my Mom, my siblings, and me (I was almost nine-years old) when we were experiencing almost homelessness (I ended up in juvenile hall and I don't understand why I sent there): Anyway, the furniture owner paid my Mom's house mortgage which my Mom paid him $100.00 each month, bought food, and also, he bought school clothes and shoes for all six children which included me. So, when the donation announcement was announced during the 6/24/2018 church service, I automatically thought about the rough times my family endured. Paying forward is the least I can do.

You will feel comfortable whether dressed casually or more formally. The pastor greets people in the sanctuary and lobby before and after the services. He reads and uses scriptural passages in his messages, applying them to life situations and showing us how we can better live our lives according to God's plan for us. Free parking in the parking lot right outside the church. Church door was open so we walked in, blessed ourselves with holy water, and made our way into the church. We found a pew and sat as the choir was singing prior to mass starting. Filipino priest led the mass nicely and shared a nice homily. This church has children's church during mass, so our three grandchildren attended and enjoyed. At our church the kiddos usually come out with a printable showing what they talked about and possibly colored. They did not bring anything out with them. The two older grandkids were asked to join two other children to bring up the gifts. That was so nice. Our 4 year old granddaughter came out of the children's church room without an adult. Hmmm...I had my eye on the door so I quickly redirected her to our pew. The church is small enough that this was no problem on this day. There was a 2nd collection which there usually is. The priest was available at the back of the church after mass to greet everyone. On this day the church was holding their ministry fair. Everyone was invited to attend but we had lunch plans so we headed out. We would definitly return to this church when in town.
