After calling a bunch of "emergency window repair companies" in Philadelphia and having no success (see my other recent reviews), I called Dan to see whether he could make the repair. He informed me that he could, and came out to take measurements. It took a little longer than I would have liked to get the window fixed, but now its fixed. The glass and screen are replaced (an idiot threw a chunk of cement through my window, wrecking the frame and glass) but there is one issue- the frame is still bent and there is a one inch gap between the frame and the window on the right side, allowing bugs to come in if the window is open. I'm going to try to bend the frame back on my own, and if I can't, hopefully it will be an affordable fix. read more

We just remodeled our master bath, and enlarged the shower area. Dan came over and explained that the look we were going for would require that our shower doors needed to be taller than normal. If not, he said they would cut off the design inside the shower, and boy was he right! We are so glad that we listened to him as he is very knowledgeable. Our frameless shower doors look absolutely fabulous! He is very professional, a pleasure to work with, and is meticulous in his work. Genovesi was referred to be by a contractor I found on Angie's List. This was a fantastic referral! I had a stall shower, glassed in that had to be temporarily removed. They removed the glass with careful thought about putting it back in the future. Today, they came and reinstalled the glass to bring the shower back to its original design. They confirmed the appointment, were on time, and were the nicest people you'd want to meet. This was a father and son team (family business), who were polite, did the work, cleaned up as they went along, were respectful of being in my home, and ensured I was happy. I needed a frameless glass enclosure for a large shower. I contacted Dan after having trouble finding anyone that could do the job in a reasonable amount of time. He was referred by the bathroom showroom where I purchased my fixtures. I renovated my bathroom and only have one bathroom so time was very critical to me as I was living in the house. I had first contacted another company recommended where I bought my bathroom fixtures. They came out while the work was being done. Gave me a price and would measure as soon as the tile was done and would expedite it and have it in within a week I called them a week before and they were going to come out Monday. Monday came and they said they could schedule Friday and it would be 5 weeks from then I called 1 other company and they gave me a price of 2500. I checked with one more which was Dan Genovesi. Best thing I did. He came out the day after I called him. Measured and said he would have it ready for install in 10 days. Price was considerably lower for the same enclosure. He delivered on time exactly when he said he would. Did a fantastic job. Very professional and punctual. The entire renovation was very tiring but this piece was the easiest and it looks fantastic.
