Today was such a crazy day. My son had an appointment that was canceled because he didn't have a referral from his PCM or insurance. The place he was supposed to go to called at 9am this morning to tell me even though he'd been seen 2 weeks ago without a referral. I called Gentle Pediatrics and they were sympathetic, understanding and very accommodating. First, the new office is beautifully! The fish tank is beautiful. I wanted to be a patient there but in too old!! Second, staff is amazing! I couldn't thank them enough!! Third, Dr. Hasnain made my 16 year old son smile, which has been impossible to do lately. And Dr. Hasnain helped me feel better about my shortcomings as a parent by telling me I'm a good mom. Why was that so important? In the last 2 months we have gone through a lot as a blended family and I've often felt like a failure as a parent. It is rare to find someone who is still passionate about their job after 32 years. Dr. Hasnain is so full of joy it's infectious. I left the office feeling as though everything would be ok. Thank you so much for your help and understanding during this time. Dr is absolutely perfect but the front desk lady ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS acts like her life is over!!! I NEVER feel welcomed by her.

I'll start by saying I've been taking my children here since my daughter was born. The building is absolutely beautiful and aesthetically pleasing, yes. BUT I knew from my experiences with my daughter that the Doctor is pretty intense and likes to share knowledge with you in a way that makes you feel inferior while also dismissing your concerns. Today was my last straw when we brought my son in for an abnormal lump on a ring worm that hasn't healed in MONTHS. This is the 2nd time I've brought him in for the same ring worm, and he is completely dismissive of my concerns and the abnormal lump. Just keeps telling me to put cream on it. I've never seen a ring worm take so long to heal. All he cared about was getting him to go do bloodwork, MRI's, etc. Stuff my healthy son doesn't need. What he needed was a doctor who actually cared enough to take the time to look at what we made the appointment for in the first place. Which he didn't take more than a glance at. So if you're into condescending doctors who don't care about your concerns in a very pretty building, this is the place for you! read more

Several times now they've scheduled appointments and while you show up on time, they'll have you wait for 45 minutes to an hour. The last few times they schedule you as "the first appointment" before the office opens but also schedule 10 other people at the same time. It's ridiculous and blatantly disrespectful of your time and your child's condition. During one of these appointments, my 2 year old had pneumonia and a double ear infection. The ear infection wasn't caught by the doctor because they're rushing through appointments, I specifically asked him to look at his ears because he was tugging at them and he ensured he would do a full checkup but ever looked at his ears. I ended up taking my baby to the ER the same night we saw Dr. Hasnain because I knew something wasn't right and it was discovered. I also have an older son on a daily ADHD medication which you request a refill through their portal and they send to the pharmacy. A few days went by and the pharmacy hadn't notified me it was ready so I called to see what the hold up was & they informed me the doctor never sent the prescription. When I called the doctors office they told me the doctor was out of the country & they would have to give me a written prescription by another doctor that I'd have to come up pick up, 2 days before Christmas when I'm running around trying to make Christmas happen for my 2 boys as a single mom. Doctors appointments are now overwhelming and require me to take PTO because of how much time you're going to waste sitting here waiting to be seen and barely attended to. I wish they would improve this experience and were as great as our first appointment but unfortunately, it seems like a show they put on to impress you and then could care less about you after that. I'll be looking for a new pediatrician that can meet my children's needs in a timely manner moving forward. read more

Don't be deceived by the high reviews this doctor has. He usually solicits for reviews and makes you write it right there in his office. That is why you see some reviews with photos of him posing with the patients. I was once a victim. Reviews such as these have brought him much more patients than he would have gotten if reviews were to be voluntary and based on professionalism. My 11 month old had covid, with some mild symptoms, Dr. Hasnain refused to prescribe any medication for him but rather told me to observe him and take him to ER if he got worse. This was on a Friday. By Sunday morning, my baby was wheezing. I called this Doctor to send some albuterol to help him , he refused . He only said I should give him Benadryl and saline drop. Out of desperation, I called my former pediatrician and she quickly sent antibiotics, albuterol and prednisolone. The next day my baby was okay. Also recently, my 2nd son who was diagnosed of flu, was told by his NP to go and take Zyrtec. I literally had to force the NP to prescribe Tamiflu for him. My negative experiences with this facility are too numerous. In a nutshell I don't recommend this doctor. read more

Had to redo my review. I have to apologize though, because we loved the nurses there SO much. Unfortunately, our last visit with Dr. Hasnain was not good at all. He was more concerned about getting his review than my daughter's health. He literally waited for me to finish my review before he let us go. I just quickly put one in (mostly for the nurses) so we could leave. My daughter came in with a skin rash all over her body. He barely looked at her and then told me to put olive oil on her. I asked if it was eczema or something. He said it was just a dry skin break out and didn't seem concerned at all. Turns out my daughter had scarlet fever and strep. We unknowingly infected my niece with strep and she is prone to seizures with her fever! And her parent aren't happy with us either. Unfortunately for Gentle Pediatrics, we have decided to switch pediatricians. I just want to say sorry to the nurses who work here. We really did appreciate everything yall did. I am so grateful that I came across Gentle Pediatrics. They truly care about their patients! I was worried that I'd have to bounce around clinics before I found "the one". Gentle Pediatrics was the first pediatrician that I had brought my newborn to. After the first visit, I knew that I didn't have to look any further. I am never pressured to do anything that I don't want and Dr. Hasnain and his staff are always so polite. He even entertains my older children while we visit by dancing and singing to them. I do not like to leave bad reviews for any business, but I am forced to leave a review about this clinic. I would honestly says, for the sake of your children please do not take them to this clinic. Extremely rude staff, non-cooperative. They just don't tell you explicitly to leave but their attitude just feels like as if, "get lost from here". My son was having 104 degree fever. I arrived a little late to the facility, the front staff pushed me back in the appointment slot and told me to wait. They made me wait in the lobby for 2+ hours. My 5 year old son was shivering due to high fever. I asked them if they could atleast provide him with Advil or Tylenol for his fever. They refused. They could see my son was suffering but they cared least. Each time when I went up to the staff to ask they would say, if you cant wait go to ER, in a very rude tone. This was ridiculous. The doctor had mentioned to me that if there was anything, I should contact him and he would guide me further assistance on my son's medical problems. I needed the doctor's guidance for a few things. I called the clinic and ask them if I could speak to the doctor. They said the doctor does not talk to patients directly. I would have to go thru the nurse. I said fine, I spoke to the nurse and she said she would have the doctor call me. Two days passed, the doctor never called back. I would call both morning and evening to check when I could consult the doctor and each time they would come up with the excuse that the doctor is busy and he would call. Over 2 days has passed and the doctor has still not called. Another thing that I notice in that clinic is, no other doctor or nurse practitioner ever stays in that clinic for a long time to practice. They quit practicing in a very short time from that clinic, I wonder why. I signed up for this doctor after looking at his reviews. But I later realized how he got so much positive reviews. The doctor himself begs each patients of his to leave a review for him. I have never seen a doctor himself begging his patients/parents to leave review for him at different platforms. I've been taking my kids to this doctor for over two years now. The doctor has been very good but ever since Covid he's been very inpatient and wants to get out the door asap. He even ran out of our room once to answer a phone call. Very unprofessional and No apologies no nothing. I have been trying to be very understanding because we all have been a bit more stressed and anxious since the pandemic. My last straw was a few weeks ago. I brought in two of my daughters. The doctor came in and one of my daughters was trying to rip something off of the bed and all I hear is the doctor scream at the top of his lungs "NO". Then he starts rambling that I should only bring one child at a time and that he can't do his job under these circumstances. Um, what circumstances, first off if you don't want more than one patient per visit you make that clear to your patients and staff and why book the appointment to begin with. Second of all under no circumstances is a pediatrician allowed to scream at my children especially when one of them has autism and speech delay. You are a pediatrician for gods sake. If you can't handle kids I suggest you not work with kids. I was so shocked I was actually at loss for words it didn't hit me until I reached the house. I took my son in because he had fever for 2 days and we were getting over a cold but his chest congestion was getting worse. They gave me an appointment with the nurse practitioner. She had a cold and wasn't wearing a mask and she told me to give my son 1tsp of benedryl. He's only 20 months and a teaspoon is dosing for 4-6 yrs old!!!! Also, they just shrugged off the fever, I actually had to go back in to ask "what abt the fever?" And she said it's just a random fever, nothing is wrong with him.. We went home and he had 102.4!!!!!!!! Really!? Now we're on DAY 3 of a fever and no meds, no answers! I called to the office and they want me to take him back... ugh no! I live 1.5 hrs away and you aren't getting another chance to overdose him!!! read more

6 years ago when I had my son we started seeing dr hasnain! It was one of the best decisions we made as parents, he is extremely gentle with children and pays attention to the smallest details. No matter how many questions we had or how tiny the detail was, he would give us his undivided attention. We've been able to make phone calls at different times and he has made us feel welcome each and every time. We drive 45 minutes to bring both our children here. So we go in on Christmas Eve concerned that my daughter has an ear infection. When we get there, they say my daughters insurance (Tricare) is ineligible. After my husband CALLS Tricare, we find her insurance is still very much good to go and we shouldn't have an issue. The nurse receptionist is still claiming it's coming off as ineligible and at this point my husband and I are sure they do not actually take Tricare and are just saying they do so when the claims bounce back they get that money. While we're trying to get seen quickly as it is past her appointment time and the other emergency clinic I was planning on taking her to was closing soon, we knock on the window for service (twice) after the second time they respond very rudely "give us a minute!" However we can hear them talking about the Chinese food they might or might not order for lunch. Obviously the care of my daughter comes second to the people who work at this doctors office. And don't even get me started on how difficult it is to get any sort of paper work from them or how ludicrous it is to get a print out of her medical records for daycare ($5 a page?? Really?) they seem like they're there for the paycheck and that's it. read more

Please do not trust these people with your children. My 3 yr old has been dealing with cough & congestion off & on for the past 2-3 months, only for us to be repeatedly told that it's a viral cold that will go away on it's own. We returned to the office to demand some answers & my daughter was diagnosed with a sinus infection. She was prescribed an antibiotic, but nothing changed, so we went back 2 weeks later to be told that she has bronchiolitis & an ear infection. She was prescribed a different antibiotic & put on a nebulizer. We returned for a follow up appt a few days later & were told that things were looking better & her ear infection was also completely gone. He also mentioned something about her having asthma despite doing any actual testing for it. That day, Dr. Hasnain finally decided to have X-rays done on her chest & we were told that everything looked great. Even though "things were getting better", my daughter was still breaking out in high grade fevers every single day for almost a week. We finally took her to a different pediatrician the next day who then sent us to the ER due to low oxygen levels that were concerning her. Oh yeah, she also pointed out that not only was my daughter's ear infection NOT completely gone, she has a DOUBLE ear infection. Not sure how that was missed. At the hospital, 5 more doctors confirmed the double ear infection and X-rays were repeated. The results of the X-rays... PNEUMONIA. My baby was suffering from pneumonia & we had no idea. We had to stay overnight at the hospital for observation & I had to watch my little girl get an IV stuck in her arm to receive IV antibiotics. I recall at our last appt with Dr. Hasnain that we specifically asked if she could have pneumonia & he said "no, but even if it is then we already have her on a good antibiotic", so we were completely brushed off. Pneumonia is nothing to be brushed off, especially in a 3 yr old. Not only did Dr. Hasnain completely misdiagnose my daughter, but he also begged me to write a good review for him at one of the previous appts. I am not the only one this happens to. My best friend also sees this doctor & her concerns are brushed off as well, which is why we are finding a new doctor. In addition to her, I have another friend whose child was misdiagnosed in 2 different situations, too. Please spare yourself the pain of seeing your child struggle before finally receiving the correct diagnosis for them & don't go here! read more

I went for a meet and greet while trying to choose a pediatrician. Spent 45 minutes in the waiting room and finally left without being acknowledged. The office did not seem busy at this time, only 1 patient waiting when I arrived and another came and was taken in while I waited. I only saw the Dr. and NP talking to staff through the glass divider so cannot comment on him. The front desk staff was incredibly rude, and did not provide any explanation on why the wait was so long. After I told her I would be leaving, she just said "ok" with no apologies or offer to reschedule. If the DR was booked due to an emergency, I would have appreciated an explanation or offer to reschedule. I was able to overhear her phone conversations with patients scheduling apt and she seemed to be very short tempered. I was uncomfortable with hearing details of the patients personal information including their insurance information. I had 45 min in the waiting area and observed it did not seem clean and the floors were in desperate need of mopping. There was no clearly designated space for well/sick children. Also I did not see any books/toys for children, just a rather loud TV playing the series of unfortunate events movie (Not appropriate for younger children IMO). I was referred here but thankful I came in person before bringing my child...I cannot recommend this place to anyone that values their time and cleanliness. read more

When moving to Texas in 2011. I thought I found a great doctor with good beside manner and great skill and care for patients. Lately this office has become like the others. You wait one hour before seeing the doctor and when you get in there he has no interest in your concern. Dr. Hasan has since built a bigger office because of how great a doctor he was but it seems to have become just that a no longer a passion. So apparently dr. Hasnain does not care about his patients having a fever or a cold. Both separate times I've came they run test on him flu test/ strep throat test and both come out negative. That still does not help my babies fever nor cough. I was told to give him half a table spoon of Benadryl ? Um hello my son is 7months. I was so excited for this new doctor but now I REGRET switching to him. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless all you want to hear is that you should give your baby Benadryl. Dr Hasnain has been a wonderful doctor for our baby. He has shown a tremendous caring spirit since we first met him. Every time we see him, he does a very thorough examination, and he takes the time to answer all of our questions - we never feel rushed! The first time we met him, our baby had a heart issue, and Dr Hasnain took it upon himself to call the heart doctor while we were in the office to schedule an appointment later that day because he wanted to make sure our little one was ok. His staff is very friendly and they also take the time to listen to our concerns and also share a few laughs. We would highly recommend Dr Hasnain! We will like to up ate our review Dr Hasanin has became so difficult to talk he always make us feel the worse parent ever jut for holding our baby and not letting her touch his dirty floors and always have something negative to say we desperately looking for a good pediatrician for out little one and not mention the wait is getting so long to see him we are so disappointed but hoping for a better pediatrician for a daughter read more
