You get charged extra if your dog has a little mat. The mobile groomer has a travel fee and if you have two dogs at one house, you get double charged. This was my first time with this company and my dog ended up with severe razor burn around his bottom. I called to tell them and all they told me was that they do 500 dogs a week and only one out of every 500 has this happen. I was also told that my dog had crusted poop on his bottom, which is completely untrue and that's why the groomer had to shave so closely. My dog sleeps next to me so there's definitely no poop. They made everything out to be my fault and they took zero responsibility. I had to purchase a soft E-collar and antiseptic medicine to care for him - another $84. So overall, this grooming experience cost me over $400.

They typically put a bow of some sort on her and I can snag a quick picture before she paws it out of her hair

Angela (owner) had a cancellation the next day and was able to take one of them. She booked the other two for the next week. Very happy it was so quick!! I took one in the next day. Dropped her off at 8:00 & picked her up at 11:30. She looked absolutely adorable!! Angela did an excellent job & got what I wanted with her "puppy" cut. Needless to say, I couldn't wait to get the other two in. They were done by someone else (can't remember her name), but also cut & groomed exactly how I like them! Dee tries to schedule so that there is either small quiet dogs or no dogs in at the time to make sure your feline friend is not to frightened. Pricing, idk what to compare with besides what it's worth to me so, I'm grateful and hope she stays around!! Finley Twogee will be 1 this month of January 2026 and currently weighs almost 14lbs. I will continue to take him to Tranquil Tails and am so happy they are in town! He pranced around after we got home so I know he's happy also! The staff is always smiling and friendly. I was really impressed with how high tech this clinic is. They were able to take x rays and tests with immediate results. This was really helpful due to the severe chronic problems we're having with our 12-year-old pug. We were able to get her health back up to prolong her life by a few more months. Eventually, after doing everything we could, she reached a point where her quality of life declined to a level that the only humane thing to do was to have her put to sleep. After 12 years with a pet, they are like family. This clinic understands that and that's why they set up a really nice private room in the back with separate entrance for these procedures. Within a few days, we received a card in the mail signed from everyone at the clinic sending their condolences. It'll probably be a while before we get another pet, but if we do, the only place we'll take it is to Bluegrass Veterinary Clinic, LLC. They have an unbeatable service, truly care, very reasonable prices and veteran-owned.
