There's not much you can do with his wiry hair hence no styling required, just take about two inches off before he starts looking like he stuck his finger in an electrical socket. Mary had him in and out in no time. $25 for a clean, sharp cut? Yes please. She was personable, attentive, and clearly knows what she's doing. The best part? She cleaned up his eyebrows without him even requesting it. Think Eugene Levy eye brows BEFORE Mary's intervention. I'm not a fan of the big chain spots for anything, especially quick men's trims. Super Cuts? Sports Clips? Great Clips? No thank you. I'll always choose a Mom-and-Pop shop where they actually know your name and take pride in their work. Mary's is exactly that; warm, local, and community-driven. Post-haircut, we celebrated by walking into Noble for a coffee - NOT Starbucks - and drove the six minutes home (no highway, barely any cars... ). Thank you, Mary! Wishing you success. It's clean, consistent and quick. I'm in and out in 15 minutes as my cut is simple enough. Obviously some men's cuts these days require 30 min. If you're one of those, make it clear when calling to book an appointment. Appointments do need to be made over the phone and they also only take cash or checks. No credit cards here. They do all sorts of hair services - perms, colorings, prom cuts, men, women. And, prices here are very affordable compared to every other place around. Call and ask - you'll be shocked! A bathroom is located in the back for customers. Try them out and I think you'll be pleased with the experience of cost and cut.

Namely all my issues are a result of the barber seemingly trying to speed run the haircut. He took about ~12 mins to give me a mid skin fade. In the process, my back of neck got several scratches and marked up, took way too much off the top when I requested to just trim the edges, and messed up my beard. Furthermore, maybe if I were a walk-in then him trying to rush through it could make some sort of sense, I came with an appointment. However, I won't be coming again.
