Rita was a breeze to work with and was very responsive throughout the entire process. We communicated mainly via text and she was quick to send me pics of the inventory in real time. The prices are reasonable and the furniture was beautiful. Her team took care of everything from the delivery, set up and breakdown and I didn't have any issues. She worked seamlessly with my wedding coordinator to ensure everything went according to plan. I first reached out to them on Oct. 21 on their website. When I didn't hear back a week later, I called them up on October 27th and was able to get ahold of Rita. I told her that I filled out the form on her website a few days ago but haven't heard back. She said they've been backed up so it's taking a while for them to get through all the requests. On the phone, I was able to get a quote from her for 100 clear Chiavari chairs for my La Jolla ceremony in February at $4.95/chair plus $200 in setup fee. I was very happy with the price and asked if she could send me a formal invoice. She said that she will do. Fast forward to November 16, I realized that it's been more than two weeks and I still haven't heard from Rita. I sent her an email to follow up and sent her another one a few days later when she didn't respond. I also called the business number twice and it's all gone to voicemail. This is just horrible business etiquette to ghost your potential customers and never respond to them again. Even if she's no longer available for my date or no longer want to take me on as a customer, she should have done the courtesy of writing me back to let me know. Instead, I've been waiting for a month for her to get back to me thinking that I have my ceremony chairs secured and now I have less than two months to find another vendor.

I loved that I didn't have to call or inquire to get an estimate or to know if what I was looking for was available. I was able to add what I was looking for to my cart and easily check-out! I rented large round tables, chairs, bar top tables, and linens for my baby shower. So it wasn't a complicated order but it was still so easy to get all of the information right away (cost, timing, deposit, etc.) I found their prices to be competitive (or better) to other companies I was looking at and the booking process was easier. They followed up shortly after via email (besides the automated confirmation email) to check on how the ordering process went, etc. which was great to hear from them directly and have that extra confirmation. When delivery time came, they were prompt, friendly, and have everything we needed. Same with pick-up. It was such a breeze and they were lovely to talk to! With our short timeframe, I was not able to reserve nor book on their website, so I called. When I called, I spoke with Johnny the owner. He was able to fit us in to rent the tables and chairs that we needed. We were thrilled. We arrived and, although I measured the inside of my SUV Cargo area for the 2 tables' diameter, I did not measure the door/entry to my SUV...and the tables did not fit. Luckily, we were able to load 16 chairs into the SUV Cargo area. Johnny was able to get the tables strapped onto the top of my SUV Truck with his pulley system straps. His partner, Myra, was also very helpful and a wonderful person to work with as well. My Husband and I were able to safely get the tables and chairs to the event venue, and back to Black Diamond Party Rentals the next day. They do provide delivery but with such short notice and the smaller order, we could not get delivery. I highly recommend this party rentals business. The tables and chairs were high quality and very clean! I was so impressed with the condition of rentals. A relative of mine hosted a party recently and she rented a canopy, tables and chairs. I asked her for a referral. She told me that she found her company on FB Marketplace. I reached out to them but unfortunately they only serve the South Bay area (I live in North County). I did some searching on my own on FB Marketplace and found several prospective companies that had good reviews. I reached out to three of them. Nemo's was the first to respond. I didn't hear back from the other companies for 3-4 hours. I decided to go with Nemo's because of how quickly they responded and their prices were reasonable. I worked with Mayra. She was amazing. I communicated with her by text msgs and she was very responsive. She kept me informed as to when her crew was coming to setup and when they were coming to pickup. I was able to place a deposit via Venmo. The entire process of booking the reservation was so simple! On the day of the party, the crew arrived early and it took them about an hour to set everything up. It was a cold/drizzly day and I was glad I rented the canopy. The canopy that I rented had three sides and it helped keep the guests dry and reduce the effects of wind chill. I'm also glad that I rented the heater. Highly recommend for a cool day. Everything worked out great with our party and it was nice to receive so many compliments from our guests about how nice the canopy and artificial turf was.
