I have had several procedures done by Dr Maranon and wouldn't trust my mouth to anyone else.

From start to finish, the entire team made me feel genuinely cared for and comfortable throughout the process. A special thank you to Heidi and Natalie for making sure I had everything I needed for a smooth recovery. I truly couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The squatters had to go, AKA - wisdom teeth...If we didn't extract them they would cause utter chaos to the rest of the permanent teeth. Dr. Lokot was very thorough in explaining the process and was easy to talk to. The consult included X-rays for $235. (it is not deducted from your procedure) We scheduled the oral surgery a week after the consult with Natalie. Again, she explained what to expect and the instructions before the surgery. Let me tell you, everyone here is SUPER NICE!!! They made this entire procedure so much easier. They asked us to arrive 15 mins before the surgery. Ella was done in 30 mins and ready to go home 30 mins later. (60 mins total) Susie, one of the surgical nurses gave us after care instructions, more gauze and the ice pack that went around her head. Natalie gave me the prescriptions for antibiotics, pain management and ibuprofen which I filled downstairs at the pharmacy while Ella was under sedation. By the time we got home Ella was feeling okay with little discomfort. By the evening she was pretty much herself. Woo hoo! She does have to eat soft foods and care for her incisions for the next week or so but I am very pleased with the overall outcome. Thank you to Dr. Lokot, Natalie, Cindy, Susie, Jessica and the rest of the staff. We appreciated your kindness. *Dr. Lokot called tonight to see how Ella was doing ! Who does that any more???! *Parking lot - they validate *Pharmacy in the same complex *They take Credit/Debit or checks. *They ask you to fill out paper work online before your initial consult. This saves a lot of time for both parties. *They do accept Dental Insurance if you have it. We don't since it's not cost effective for our needs.

The front desk staff is wonderful and flexible and communicative !! Each of the practitioners and dental assistants are amazing, sweet, efficient, and kind! Most people dread going to the dentist, but I always get excited to come in, especially after finding Encino dental! i've moved around a lot so I've had dental work done and a bunch of different states and over the past three years, Encino Dental has been consistently amazing in repairing and restoring the health of my teeth and ensuring I leave feeling happy and confident. Highly recommend 12/10

Before I tell you my experience here, let me explain a bit about my case (in case any of you out…read morethere are similar to me..): I'm meticulous about my oral hygiene (flossing and brushing all the time) and yet I still have cavities and sensitive teeth. I also grind and clench my jaw relentlessly and have an intense fear of needles. Does this paint a picture so far? So, when I decided to get veneers, I was beyond skeptical about who could deliver the smile I envisioned without pain or disappointment. Let me tell you, Dr. Faraz, Dr. Parham, and their exceptional team at Encino Dental Smile are nothing short of EXTRAORDINARY! Legit the best dental experience I've ever had! From the moment you walk in, their entire staff, from the front desk to the dental assistants, exceeds five-star service!! Dr. Faraz and Dr. Parham aren't just dentists, they're high-end smile designers who combine unmatched expertise with genuine care. They took the time to understand my needs, preferences, and concerns, delivering results that surpassed my expectations. Every detail of the experience was thoughtfully designed for comfort and confidence. At my first appointment, they placed a cozy blanket over me to ensure I felt at ease (I know it's a random detail but to me it made a positive impact because it showed me their attention to details, and that's what you want in a dentist!). Their bedside manner is impeccable, and they went above and beyond to make every procedure pain-free. Dr. Parham, in particular, is a master with needles, I didn't feel a single pinch during any of my visits, which is a game-changer for someone like me who dreads them! Dr. Faraz is a true Artist and listener. He carefully considered my jaw clenching and grinding habits, guiding me on what would work best for my unique situation while listening to what I wanted (cause I knew exactly what I wanted). Together, they crafted my dream smile, and the results are beyond what I could have EVER imagined. Their professionalism, precision, and warmth make them the ultimate dental duo. I can't thank them enough for transforming my smile! If you're looking for a dental team that delivers excellence with unmatched care, Dr. Faraz, Dr. Parham and their team are the ones to choose! Once again, THANK YOU SO MUCH for my dream smile! :D

I wanted to say that although I had a difficult 1st examination with a doctor there (I was in shock…read moreand he was far from compassionate), they granted me a 2nd opinion. They were very open to my distress and had a conversation with said doctor. I had the appoitment for an extraction for a full month in advance and spent that time being very stressed out about pain, discomfort and having to buy a special soft diet. The doctor was then kind to me and assuring and the extraction was actually very easy; the recovery though was difficult. They did provide gauze but it was minimal and I went through 80 gauze pads with bleeding (I'm on blood thinners they were not worried about and perhaps that contributed). Having said that, I had no residual pain, no bruising or swelling. It all worked out in the end. The office staff was very accomodating. I would recommend this center.

My experience with Southern California Center for Oral and Facial Surgery was extremely…read moredisappointing. To begin with, my appointment was changed three separate times. First, I received a text message rescheduling it. Then, on the day of my appointment, it was moved to the following day. Within an hour of that change, I received another call asking if I could come in at 11:00 a.m. instead. Despite all the scheduling issues, I remained patient, flexible, and respectful. The one bright spot was the front desk staff member who assisted me. She was kind, understanding, professional, and made me feel heard and respected. She was the only person during this experience who validated my concerns. Unfortunately, my interaction with the doctor was the complete opposite. He asked me to rate my pain level, and I explained that I was experiencing a dull, tender pain that I would rate as a 5 out of 10. Rather than focusing on why I was there, he spent several minutes arguing with me about what a "5" should mean. I explained that I have experienced severe tooth pain before that I would consider a 10, which is why I rated my current pain as a 5. Instead of listening, he became increasingly dismissive and argumentative. Eventually, after going back and forth, he asked what number he thought my pain should be and said a 3 or 4. At that point, I simply agreed because I wanted to move on with the appointment. What was most frustrating was that he seemed far more interested in telling me that my symptoms were stress-related than investigating the concerns I came in for. I explained that I have dealt with this issue for years and that I have two severely worn-down molars. Whether stress contributes to it or not, I expected a specialist to discuss treatment options and show some interest in helping me. Instead, I felt dismissed, judged, and spoken down to. I left feeling like my concerns were not taken seriously and that there was little compassion or willingness to help. Based on my experience, I would recommend seeking a second opinion or asking for a different provider if possible. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the most disappointing interactions I have had with a medical professional.
