I asked if the dry cleaners doesn't supply hangers for the clothes they've done and he tells me they haven't done dry cleaning in seven years. Why would it say dry cleaning on their window if they don't do dry cleaning. There was a language barrier between the girl who took my jackets and myself so possibly she didn't understand I wanted dry cleaning and she just took the jackets.

The older guy with white hair and glasses is rude. I brought my clean clothes in a plastic bag to…read moredry them because my dryer wasn't working. I put the bag on the table. The rude attendant asked me if the clothes were clean or dirty I said clean. He was like you can't put the bag on the table. I said well I need to put them in the dryer. He was like well just put them right into the dryer. I didn't want to have to bend all the way down to the floor to take the clothes from the bag in order to put them into the dryer hence why I put the bag on the table. I stood there for a minute because I was shocked at how rude he was being. Because I hadn't move the bag yet he came over snatches my bag off of the table and says well you can put it in here as he puts my bag in one of the rolly baskets. He was like people's clean clothes go on the table. Instead of being rude, nasty and snatching my bag he could've simply just said can you put your bag in the basket please as peoples fold their clean clothes on the table. Judging from the comments it seems like he needs to learn how to talk to people. Also I am black, I didn't think his nastiest was due to racism at first but right after he snapped at me he talked to other customers (who were white) and was so nice and pleasant to them. Seeing from the comments that he's been nasty to other people of color maybe he is racist or maybe he just has a nasty attitude in general. This place is right down the street from me. Because of my experience I will never go this place again no matter how convenient it is. Good thing my dryer is working now, if I have to go a laundromat ever again I'd rather go to the extra distance and go the bpt ave one or go to one in Derby or Ansonia.

Sadly, I asked about the drying and the young lady said there is no change even though I was saying under the Connecticut law that this falls under false advertisement and she couldn't care less This is been the dirtiest dust filled laundromat, I've been to awhile. Should be out of business. Paid to have a wedding dress cleaned there and it came back with leaves,…read moreLITERALLY LEAVES, still in the lace edge of the train. Pretty sure they never even took it out of the bag. Brought it back two weeks later and got screamed at over the phone by the owner, who accused me of wearing the dress again and getting it dirty. It was stupid of me to not pull it out and inspect it when I picked it up, I know better now, but it didn't have any stains, so I figured there wouldn't be any issues. I only looked at it two weeks later because I was packing it away in a box for storage. They agreed to clean it again, and apparently sent it away this time. And wouldn't you know it, this dress came back with leaves STILL stuck in the lace of the train, when I spoke with the manager there she immediately said "This is not right" and put me on the phone with the owner again. She spoke on my behalf, saying it was dirty, and then he asked her to give me the phone and SCREAMED at me again for trying to take advantage of his business. What a lunatic!
