After getting stitched up, our amazing dental office contacted their neighbor in the building, Laguna Orthodontics, to see if they could help by resetting and repositioning my Mom's top 6 teeth. They made every effort to squeeze my Mom in, reassure her, X-Ray her, put braces on her, reassure her again, and promised her that her teeth would be more beautiful than they did before the fall! :) They were all so patient, calm, funny, and caring. They stayed after hours until everything was completed (my Mom had to go back and forth between the dentist and orthodontist offices). I am so thankful for Dr. Adams and his staff. Her technique is very good, the precision of the cut of the wire so it won't poke you in the mouth , the smoothness of putting it on . On top of that she is very caring ,one person at a time and answer all your concern. She also helped my daughter brush her teeth to show her the mistakes. Her personally is exceptional, will fit any environment actually, not like some grumpy people ,just to be there to make their paycheck. After seeing her smile , you might realize that anxiety and depression is just a thought. I'm also very happy with how my daughter's braces is coming along, and Dr.Oshetski is very good with the kids. My experience here was completely different. Everyone, from Marcelline at the front desk to Dr. Oshetski and the entire orthodontic team, was so kind, welcoming, and helpful. I was referred to Dr. Wu by my son's pediatric dentist. After reading all the positive reviews, I…read moredecided to bring my son here. We've been patients for a little over a year now, and unfortunately we've had to come in multiple times for "emergency" visits because bracket fell off, wires came loose, or wires were poking my son. Most recently, my son's wire came off on a Friday night. Since we already had an appointment scheduled for Tuesday, I just had him use wax until then. At that Tuesday appointment, the dental assistance informed us that the wires were cut too short, which is why the wire came off the bracket. However, later that SAME day, my son told me the wire came off again. I called the next morning and thankfully they were able to get us in right away. As the assistant explained the situation to Dr. Wu, his immediate reaction was to blame my 9-year-old. He asked if my son had been pulling on the wire or ate something hard because, according to him, "there's no way" the wire would come off on its own without excessive force. I was honestly shocked and upset that his first instinct was to blame a child instead of considering that maybe the work done the day before was not done properly. Not to mention the day before his dental assistant said that the wire came out due to it being cut too short. So which is it?? The wire can come off when it's cut too short or it requires excessive force for the wire to come off?? I reminded Dr. Wu that we had just been there the day before for the exact same issue. I asked why his first reaction was to blame my son instead of questioning whether his staff may have made a mistake. He immediately became defensive and said his office sees "many, many patients" and they never have issues. I explained that this was not the first time we've had problems with my son's braces and that we've already had to come back several times due to brackets or wires coming loose. What bothered me most was that even after I questioned him, he still blamed my son again and confidently said yes when I asked, "So you're blaming my son for this?" It wasn't until I continued questioning him and pointing out the repeated issues that he gave what felt like a very half-hearted apology. He said he would "look into his protocols" and that he's not "above admitting" when his staff makes mistakes. Dr. Wu ended up fixing my son's braces himself that day, and I immediately noticed he spent much more time and care working on them than the assistant did the previous day. At the end of the visit, I asked if moving forward Dr. Wu could personally work on my son instead of the assistants. His response was simply, "It doesn't work that way." No explanation, no reassurance, nothing. Overall, I found Dr. Wu to be rude, dismissive, condescending, and unprofessional in the way he handled this situation. As a parent, it was upsetting to see a grown professional immediately blame a child instead of taking accountability or at least approaching the situation with more care and professionalism. My son may need braces again in high school once all his adult teeth come in, but we will not be returning here.

Also, we love Dr. Kevin! He is friendly, funny and professional. I feel like he cares and can relate as another good human being. When my boys were little, they love the video games and playroom while we wait. This place is really created for kids. The first kid to get braces was the youngest one at 7 years old. She was a tiny one at that. Dr. Dorminey made us so comfortable on her phase 1 journey. My husband, my son, and I went to him for our orthodontic needs and he did a fabulous job. Always taking the time to explain what is happening to the teeth and what to expect. Now the youngest is back for a phase two. Her teeth are now straightened but she has this drastic over-jet that she can't stand. So off to see Dr. Dorminey again. His office personnel includes his wife who is so kind. I come back time and time again because the people here are so kind, but not only that, they are so good at what they do. He's a great listener and took the time to explain the right treatment options and he encouraged me to get braces especially after a horrible childhood experience with the other orthodontist (will not name on here) back in the early 2000s. I got braces 3 weeks ago and I LOVE THEM! I will do everything he says and in the book to make my braces last and to keep them effective in getting my bite fixed and teeth straightened. Staffed clear up any questions I had because it was a little confusing with one page to sign. They were playing today's music so that set the mood. Josie, the dental assistant took me in. She explained the steps on all the x-rays and instructions on what to do. She was very nice and friendly. Dr. Urena came in and she was okay... Nice lady, but I felt a little uncomfortable with her. She was constantly feeling my throat because she was worried about something but wouldn't tell me directly until I asked her. Prior to going in, I knew I possibly needed a deep cleaning. She examined my teeth but would make these side comments. However, I will say she was nice enough to continue with the regular cleaning in hopes to make it better. She was also very informative in demonstrating teeth care. She has a thick accent but speaks good English. My insurance covered the whole visit. But for the follow up it will be out of pocket. The front desk scheduled me for that and a yearly dental cleaning.

Google Review 1…read morestar -- Absolutely ridiculous and completely unprofessional Honestly, this is one of the most ridiculous experiences I have ever had with a dental office. Archie Dental Group is trying to dismiss me AND my family over "missed appointments" while completely ignoring the fact that I DID call to cancel my appointments with more than 48 hours' notice. The problem is that when you actually call this office, they often DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE. So apparently now I'm supposed to somehow be responsible for the fact that their office doesn't answer when I call? And here's the part that really makes no sense: last week I was told in an email that there were FOUR appointments that supposedly didn't meet the 48-hour requirement. Now suddenly this letter says there were only TWO. So which one is it? Because those are two completely different numbers. You can't keep changing the story and then expect me to just accept it. If your office doesn't answer the phone when patients call, how exactly are patients supposed to cancel appointments? Am I supposed to teleport into the office 48 hours beforehand and personally hand someone a cancellation notice? And then, on top of all of this, you're dismissing my mother, who is a completely separate patient and has NOTHING to do with my appointments. She did not do anything wrong. Yet because you decided to use a "family collectively" rule, she now has to find a completely new dentist too. That's incredibly unfair. What makes this even more insulting is the tone of the letter. You acknowledge that not every appointment was cancelled without 48 hours' notice, but then still use the overall number to justify dismissing us. So basically, even when we follow your policy, we're still punished because your office doesn't like our overall appointment history? This isn't how you treat patients. If you're going to have a strict cancellation policy, actually answer your phones when patients call to cancel. Keep accurate records. Don't tell someone one number one week and a completely different number the next week. And don't punish an innocent family member for another patient's appointments. I have absolutely no problem finding another dentist. What I do have a problem with is being blamed for something that I genuinely tried to handle correctly. Do better.
