Her technique is very good, the precision of the cut of the wire so it won't poke you in the mouth , the smoothness of putting it on . On top of that she is very caring ,one person at a time and answer all your concern. She also helped my daughter brush her teeth to show her the mistakes. Her personally is exceptional, will fit any environment actually, not like some grumpy people ,just to be there to make their paycheck. After seeing her smile , you might realize that anxiety and depression is just a thought. I took my 10 yo daughter here for a second opinion, after her previous orthodontist at Surfside was forced to retire for not working fast enough and the new doctor couldn't handle any questioning of his decrees. The staff at Oshitski were great, very friendly from receptionist to techs. However, when the main man Dr. Oshitski himself came in to assess the status of my daughter's braces, things quickly turned into an oshitski show. He pressed so hard on her gums that she spoke out in pain and tried to pull his hand away. Oshitski told my daughter not to touch him, insisted that he was only using standard pressure, so that any discomfort was all in her head. I immediately informed him that she has been empowered to assert her bodily autonomy and that he needed to stop. Oshitski's fragile ego clearly couldn't handle that, so we were immediately invited to go somewhere else for any further 'care.' I wouldn't recommend anything involving Oshitski himself to an enemy, but the rest of the staff seemed pleasant and competent enough. TLDR: stay away or be prepared to defend yourself and/or those that need defending from Oshitski's ego and sense of infallibility! read more

This was one of the rudest doctors I've ever seen in my life. I went in for a consult and he was incapable of considering the details of my story and all the factors in my bite issues, even after I emailed him prior to my visit with the details. He brags about his 27 year experience and that he's a "diamond Invisalign provider" but it doesn't mean much if you are one dimensional in your thinking and don't know how to handle semi-complex cases (anything slightly more complicated than a straight forward, easy solution) . 3 years of work on my daughter (now 19) with Invisalign. He gave the option for wire braces as well, but we went this way. Dr. Oshetski is big, loud, and opinionated. He can also come across rather like a car salesman, so I understand why he rubbed a few folks here the wrong way. But after 3 years, including an unplanned extension and redo of our aligners, I can't say enough good things about him and his staff. 4 years ago, my daughter smiled rarely. Recommended by my dentist Dr. Leyba to visit Dr. O in late December 2020. Since my current insurance will cover 50% of adult orthodontia, I went in for a free consultation in February. Hello 2021! Located off of Laguna Springs Drive in the Professional Center. Covid protocols include entering the building from the east side entrance, hand sanitizing and filling out a Covid-19 questionnaire healthy history form. The waiting area is closed off for seating. Temperature checks done, and everyone working there wears masks/gloves. I had had metal braces as a teenager but since then all of my wisdom teeth came in (never extracted) and shifted everything around. I knew ahead of time some other challenges that I have (missing teeth, short roots) and we discussed all that. Dr. Oshetski has a ton of energy, makes you feel comfortable and welcome and he is super knowledgeable. Lori is the Treatment Coordinator who did all my initial x-rays, photos and scans. She showed me the 3-D model Invisalign rendering/simulation viewer (preliminary) that the software came up with, although Dr. O would go in later and make his own adjustments. She also showed me the estimated cost, and I got a tie-dye t-shirt. I had a week or so to think on it before next Zoom appointment, although the quote is good for 6 months. Melissa (RDA) did my virtual appointment on Zoom once again going over the revised Invisalign simulation (three different scenarios where we straighten just for health, straighten allowing for later dental restoration work, and what the final look would possibly look like with veneers). After talking with her and Dr. O, I decided to go ahead with the treatment and Dr. put in the request to have the aligners made. Wendy (office manager) took care of my electronic paperwork regarding agreements and payments plan. A little over 2 weeks later they called to say my aligners were ready to pick up! Angelica walked me through my try-on and explanation of my first chapter of Invisalign (28 aligners), how to put the aligners on and remove by hand, the included case, removal tool, chewies, travel toothbrush and toothpaste and floss included, cleaning crystals, all 28 aligners in baggies, boxed in an Oshetski Ortho backpack. She also explained to me the coins rewards system for wearing your t-shirt to your appointments, etc. My next appointment will be for getting attachments before the week 4 tray. So far, so good! Active treatment estimated to be 16-18 months, then any refinements. We're still wearing masks, but at least my aligners can be discreet! read more

Wow! What an amazing group of staff and an AMAZING Orthodontist! As soon as we came in they made us felt extremely welcomed and greeted us with a smile on their face (they had masks on) but we definitely can see through their mask HAHAHA The entire consultation seemed so effortless. My son immediately was taken to go get an x ray. As soon as he was done (within a minute), they called me into their consultation room and they took additional photos and let me tell you, they have some high tech stuff there! High technology to compare current smile versus what the smile makeover will be after Invisalign. That smile makeover review is helpful to forecast how much can be changed, and how smiles change a person's face. They have an app that allows the patient to submit pictures through Invisalign process every week to ensure they're being worn correctly. Let me just say I've gone to multiple orthodontists to see what they would plan to do to fix my bite, and Dr Oshetski's office consultation process was by far the best experience I have had in the Elk Grove area. I had a good time during my braces. However I started having issues with my retainers and that's when I started seeing the staff get rude. I went to go pick them up and I asked if I should wear them all day everyday and I was told I will not be getting that information since I don't have an appointment. The next available appt is February. My teeth already started shifting and I only had my braces off for 3 weeks. It's crazy to me that I paid for the service and at the end they're just going to deny telling me key information for my retainers. read more
