We went straight to the Assessor's and Recorder's Office to hand in the completed application. BUT...a couple of weeks later when I went back to SF City Hall to get the marriage certificate, they said that we made a mistake and handed in an application that had a slight tear on the lower right and that the State office will reject the paperwork. They wanted Dyanna to show up again and do more paperwork and pay a fee. Thanks to Dyanna's quick actions, good working relationship with the City offices, and strong knowledge of the marriage license process, she was able to argue and negotiate a net benefit for us.
