As a last resort I called Livonia Family Medicine Associates since my PCP Dr Bradley works there. I called at 1PM, was seen via video visit at 3:30, and at 5:30 arrived home with my antibiotic script in hand. Five days of pills later, I was cured. My urgent care experience was terrible and unacceptable but my Livonia Family experience made me well. And my office visits have been fine as well. Thumbs way up for this place!

She is part of the infinity primary care system. I really like Dr. Fitzgibbons. For my primary appointment, she spent a good 45 minutes with me, and I had some pretty strong concerns that she spent time talking to me about. She is extremely friendly and approachable. The office is busy. If you get an afternoon appointment, you may be waiting for a bit past your appointment time. There are many doctors there, so if you have to come in for something and Dr. Fitzgibbons is full, you can see someone else (her hours, btw, are Monday and Wednesday 9-5 and Thursday 9-12). So far I've been extremely pleased with the attention and care I have received there. They also have an email system set up so you can communicate with your doctor by email, which I like a lot since you can play a lot of phone tag with doctors normally.

Three weeks after my original appointment and I have spent hours on this issue and my patience is null at this point. Absolutely do not go here if you value your time. I waited in the waiting room for a scheduled annual check up for just under and hour and then waited an additional 20 minutes in the exam room to see Kathryn. While she is a nice woman, getting a hold of her is absolutely impossible. You cannot directly contact your physician and while the women at the call center are very nice there is only so much they can do for you. I needed prior authorizations on two different medications and not only had I been trying to reach out for a week, my pharmacy was as well. They sent multiple faxes that were not returned in any sort of timely manner until I finally got a hold of someone at the front desk, again, not Kathryn herself. I was then told about an online Portal when I asked about receiving any of my lab results, which had never been brought up at any of the appointments I've had in the past and the front desk woman said she'd email me my portal information (still have not received that email). The only person that I felt had any empathy for their patients was the phlebotomist. She was kind, and quick.

I have had reflexology in the past, and thought, "sure this is a nice foot massage", but that is not what reflexology is in the least when you're with Ruth. It's just amazing, amazing work. She's passionate, perceptive, kind, and so so much more. I really don't have enough good words to say about Ruth. Give her a try, and you'll try to hunt me down to thank me for making your life awesome. Dr. Shindler is also awesome. He's very easy to talk to, and is open to different ways of healing, including hypnosis. I did hypnosis once, and he will make a recording of the session for you to do at home. This also helped me reduce stress levels - but obviously you can use hypnotism to help with a lot of different issues. Overall, there aren't enough words to express how thankful I am that this office is here... we so quickly brush off things like stress, and other life stuffs, and how they play a role in our health.
