The crew had to remove my back yard fence gate in order to get materials to the back yard. I was promised that it would be reinstalled the way it was but they did a shoddy job replacing my back fence gate and now there is a larger than one inch gap between my gate and the latch. (see picture). I brought this up to Nova Roca's attention who said they would fix it but it has been over 3 weeks since we spoke and have not heard any follow-up. Also, the crew left a lot of concrete rubble in the grass that I had to take a shop vac to remove.

The fireplace we had built has a 3-foot thick concrete foundation base and for good reason: weight. Jose and Leticia definitely passed the vibe check so in addition to having them initially work on our drainage and side yard projects, we entrusted them with a revamp of the front and back yards. I'll post about the sides and front later but for now, the back yard turned out awesome. We went with removing the grass and regrading the yard, adding artificial turf and river rocks. We were also able to reuse our existing decorations and front yard shrubs and integrate them nicely. The team worked hard in the heat and rain to bring our vision to reality.
