Very painless experience. I found Dr. Brown very experienced and thorough. I would go to him again.

(Two uncles are dentists out of state, so I'm picky about who touches my teeth!) Was it comfortable? Not really, but it was much more comfortable than the last two I had done. Dr. shah was patient with me, continually checking on how I was mentally. He was constantly concerned about my well-being and dental anxiety, explaining what he was doing every step of the way. Thank you, Dr. shah!

Root Canals: I required 2 root canals on teeth #s 24 & 25. I was referred to Dr. Shah, DMD who…read morespecializes in Endodontic by my dentist Dr. Tommy Turkiewicz, DMD. Both practitioners are located in Peachtree City, Fayette County, GA. I had no preconceived idea of what I might expect, as I have never had a root canal and those I do know that have had root canals (they) were done so long ago I was certain the procedure would be updated. When I walked into the Office, I was impressed by the waiting area which had a wonderful light & clean scent - NOT perfume & not medicinal, simply fresh. The seating area is tastefully appointed in soothing paint colors, pleasant artwork on the walls seasonal decorations (in this case miniature pumpkins, orbs, hand painted real pumpkins as well). I was also greeted by a smiling & friendly office staff who were prepared with my information in hand. I somehow forgot my referral paperwork to which they replied kindly they would contact Dr. Tommy's office on my behalf. It was the "kindly" that impressed me - no indication that they were inconvenienced by having to make the contact. An extraordinary response considering many times graciousness is not displayed in many customer/patient related environments. I felt comforted by their response. The Care, Quality, and Professionalism displayed & taken by Dr. Shah & his assistants was exceptional! Full & complete information about the procedure was given prior to any procedure work commenced. I was told it was going to be a 2-visit procedure, the chosen technology used and for what purpose. There were 2 televisions for viewing: one parallel to the chair and one on the ceiling. I asked if it was ok for me to listen to an Audiobook during the procedure, which was encouraged so long as I was able to hear any questions asked. After full mouth X-rays taken, I was seated and Novocain was administered. The reason I bring this up is in all my life never have I experienced such a painless administration of Novocain! The technique employed included redirecting pressure on my lower lip while brief injections were administered. I never felt a pinch!! Remarkable! Sunglasses were placed over my eyes so the lights would not bother me. Quite considerate! After the procedure was complete, Dr. Shah (whose assistants were gentle, worked seamlessly with Dr. Shah, communicated clearly and genuinely enjoy their team & profession) showed me the work he performed and his expectations for success. They all bid farewell and to call with any questions or concerns. I Made my 2nd appointment, which was brief & rescheduled for 18 months noting I need a follow-up appointment with Dr. Tommy to complete any dental work needed. Post-Root-canal: the area around my gums & teeth were tender, not excruciating, antibiotics & Tylenol were all that was needed after the 1st visit. I started antibiotics 2-days prior to my appointment and continue until completed. overall this was a relaxing and pleasant experience. Dr. Shah is caring and clearly understands his role as a professional as well as genuine patient care. Thank you!!

They rescheduled me for Friday morning at 9:30. They never sent the confirmation text or email like they said they would, so I ended up taking more time out of my workday to call and confirm my appointment. I show up at 9:15 (15 minutes prior, as they recommend) and they seat me in a room at 9:35. I then sit there for 45 minutes waiting for the hygienist or at least someone to come and tell me that they were running behind. Nothing. I waited 5 more minutes (50 total) and then I got up and left. Won't be going back and will recommend that others never go in the first place.

After my first visit and 20+ X-rays later, I scheduled a cleaning since it was a part of my insurance plan. Arrived there expecting to pay my $50 deductible and when I was given the paper work to sign, I noticed that there was an ADDITIONAL fee of $132 more dollars ON TOP of my deductible. I asked the lady why there was a charge since this was included with my Anthem insurance. She said "Well, to have your cleaning, you HAVE to have these additional things in ORDER for her to do your cleaning." I explained that two cleanings are covered a year but she cut me off saying "These are the things that's highly recommended for the hygienist to do the cleaning." So I said that I didn't need what was recommended, I just want a regular cleaning that's apart of my plan." She said "She can't do that." Like....WTH!! I told the lady in the front office that this was very unprofessional and that they should've communicated this PRIOR to my making an appointment. Or at the least, BEFORE I made the trip and wasted time out of my day!! In closing.....there's a hard REASON this company is at the BOTTOM of the referral lists. Sad. Just so sad. They really should be ashamed of themselves knowing how they are conducting business this way. Talk about hard up for money and trying to squeeze every little penny out of someone. She asked if I wanted to reschedule. Needless to say, I walked out!

Office staff and dentist were extremely friendly on a face-to-face basis; however, every visit felt like an upsell of a procedure and every single visit ended up with a billing irregularity. On our last visit, which was simply for annual x-ray and cleaning we were billed extra. When I called both the office and our insurance company the bill was coded as that I received extra x-rays. Since I was having no problems and no cavities, it appears that they added extra x-rays to the billing that I did not receive, and my insurance applied it to my co-pay. When I called to try to straighten it out, the front desk staff admitted that I had extra x-rays and cannot explain why. She tried to blame it on insurance. Isure if they are coding to pad the bill to get extra money, hoping that no one notices.

First, every single person you come into contact in that office is super friendly and helpful from the moment you schedule your appointment until the time you leave. Second, Dr. Harris always makes the procedures virtually painless so if that's a concern for you this is the place for you. I really want to thank all of the staff for changing how I think and feel about going to the dentist.
